I see me with you and all the things you do
Keep turning round and round in my mind
Forget the weather we should always be together
And any other thought is unkind
To have you with me i would swim the seven seas
I need you as my guide and my light
My love is a flame that burns in your name
We'll be together, we'll be together tonight
We'll be together, yeah
We'll be together, yeah
We'll be together, yeah
I see you with me and all i want to be
Is dancing here with you in my arms
Forget the weather we should always be together
I'll always be a slave to your charms
To have you with me i would swim the seven seas
I need you as my guide in my life
My love is a flame that burns in your name
We'll be together, we'll be together tonight
We'll be together, yeah
We'll be together, yeah
We'll be together, yeah
Call me baby
You can call me anything you want
Call me baby, call me, just call me
I see you with me and baby makes three
I see me with you and all the things you do
Forget the weather we should always be together
I need you as my guide and my light
My love is the flame that burns in your name
We'll be together, we'll be together tonight.

Today January 17th 2023 we say goodbye to the excellent Renée Geyer, belting those "Together's" like the monster singer she was. So long and thank you for coming, Renée 🌼🧡

Sting achieves a sublime balance in this video. He is simultaneously a bookish nerd and a vulgar drunk. Sting plays both parts well. He makes the nerd character the sexier of the two. As a 17-year-old nerd at the time, I was so happy to see a "sexy nerd" on TV. There are many now. But in 1987...it was a new concept.
@Steeyuv
Agree, agree, it was his acting so well that made me gasp. That and the musical arrangement. (Yes, I know, I just exPECted the women to be that good looking, OK?)
@phantomsolver6778
Nerds have been there before 1987. I bet the classical age had quite a few of them. Lookup the movie "The Freshman" with Harold Lloyd from 1925 for a more "recent" example.

A Friends episode where Phoebe dates two guys simultaneously- a typical macho fireman and a sensitive teacher (who wears glasses). She decides to break up with the latter, but she's at his front door and stopped in her tracks, as he's shirtless, with a well muscled upper physique. Phoebe continues to see both guys until the end of the episode.
@christinescarff4920
I’ve always loved clever men so a sexy nerd would be my choice ! 🤫🤷♀🤣🥳
@elsabewium4450
I love this sexy nerd .... 💜💕🤴💕💜 💯💯💯
@deletebilderberg
This video was on ridiculously high rotation on MTV - and it still wasn’t enough.
Magnificent.
@DylansPen
I remember that, it was on all the time and you're right it still wasn't enough.

The choreography of The "Drunk Dance"...was iconic.
