Strait A Students has played more than (50) live shows regionally and sold hundreds of their debut release "The Oryentation EP" on the internet and at live performances. The Strait A's have had (4) tracks named “Track of the Day” at Garageband.com and have been included on two music compilations distributed at Warped Tour 2006 and 2007. In March 2007, they were named “Band of the Month” at Bandfocus.com and they took home 2nd place in the KISM/Harley Davidson’s “Last Band Standing” competition last October. Recently, they were interviewed on Kate Delany's "America Tonight" Online Radio Show with close to a half million listeners and their music will be featured in the mountain bike and motocross DVD: “N.W. Dirt Culture III” coming Spring 2008.The band will be promoting their upcoming release, “The Pursuit of Hopelessness”, throughout the Summer of 2008 with a slew of shows at popular fairs, festivals, and clubs. this song reminds me when my husband met me..i had all the walls up..didn't want to date ever again I was in a relationship for 2 yrs and my ex fiancé had abused me physically and verbally and I shut down and didn't trust any guy..so one day I met my husband through a friend..of course he went nuts for me, but my friend told him don't waste your time she wont date you and any man near her. he said oh I can change that ..he waited and waited and waited for me and little by little got me to trust him..we became friends at first and I told him I don't want to date, but he couldn't take no for an answer and told me as long as it take I will wait for you. 6 months he waited for me and didn't give up..finally he proved to me I could trust him and he wouldn't ever hurt me ever...family and friends started to notice I was just glowing and smiling a lot.. but I wouldn't tell them I was falling in love with a guy I was to scared to say it., My mom could see it and told me one day you will marry someday soon your in love girl. I was trying so hard to keep the walls up but he knocked them, all down and showed me a love I have never thought I could ever have. he didn't give up..he was able to prove to me their is a guy for every girl out their and that he truly love me for who I was. I cant ask more then that..so don't give up.
