Imagine if you had suggested this in 1969, everyone would have been listening to music from the 1920s! Every generation thinks their music is the best, it's just what coincides with what you listened to in your teens and twenties. My favourite music is from the 80s but my teenage kids think a lot of it is '"old people's music". No doubt in 20-30 years time, teenagers will be listening to music of today saying the same thing.

Brings back some awesome memories when I was nine years old in Jersey City and my family and I went to a little Italian restaurant up on Congress Street and my Nana gave me a quarter to play music. I put it in the jukebox and played sugar sugar five times stood by the jukebox, dancing and singing and then was walking back to the table dancing and singing.
