By the end of his time in college in 2013, Sulvida realized that electronic music was more than just a hobby, it was what he wanted to do with his life. Two weeks after graduation, he left everything behind to move to New York City and attend Dubspot to train professionally as a music producer. During his two years spent in New York, Sulvida was able to DJ at some of the most prestigious venues the city has to offer, including Webster Hall, Stage 48, and Hudson Terrace, to name a few.
After finishing at Dubspot, he moved back to Southern California to pursue music full-time, and started 2015 by releasing a slew of remixes in the Progressive House, Trap, Dubstep, and Drum & Bass genres, including his remix of “Chief” by Party Thieves & ATLiens, which received support from ATLiens themselves. In late 2015 he followed up this success with a remix of Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” which gained immense support, hitting over 28,000 plays on SoundCloud before being removed after a copyright claim by UMG. Shortly thereafter, Sulvida was offered a scholarship to attend Icon Collective Production School, and began their online program in Fall 2015.
Sulvida has had the opportunity to perform with some of the most well-known names in the music industry, including Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Dada Life, Markus Schulz, Firebeatz, Blasterjaxx, 3LAU, Revolvr, ETC! ETC!, Jai Wolf, Mike Posner, Mac Miller, and Timeflies, among others. His years of DJ experience help ensure his productions are club-ready and satisfying. As he continues his musical journey, he constantly makes an impression with his live skills and evolving original sound while building his brand worldwide.
Hypnotized

I'm hypnotized by you
I'm hangin' to what you say
I'm hypnotized by you
I can't seem to look away
I can't seem to look away
I can't seem, I can't seem
I can't seem to look away
From heaven's greatest supplier
I'll hook you up with a lighter
Watch you get inspired
By lights, colors, attractions
Both creatures of action
Attacking my brother's fraction
Is something that I ain't adding
I roam around in my gallery
Casually sipping daiquiris
Waiting on the day I unveil my greatest masterpiece
She said, "you never know what you got until it's out of reach"
I told her, "hey thanks for the tip, are you paid hourly?"
I found in me a sprouting tree
With roots from the membrane
No ops to beat, you obsolete
If you don't use your left brain
From across the street, they popping heat
Keep beefing with that propane
I keep the peace and kill these beats
'Til I can pop my champagne
So know that, ain't no name
Made more grooves than Rogaine
With Sulvida off the meter
We're like Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne
When the beat rise like high tides
We coast ride from a bird's eye
To see it all, yeah we see it all
Until it's out of reach
"Are you paid hourly?" she said
Until it's out of reach
"Are you paid hourly?" she said
Until it's out of reach
"Are you paid hourly?" she said
Until it's out of reach
I'm hypnotized by you
I can't see, can't see
I can't see, can't see
I can't see, can't see
I can't see, look away
I can't seem to look away
I can't seem to look away
I'm hypnotized by you
The lyrics of the song "Hypnotized" by Sulvida seem to describe a deep infatuation with someone or something. The repetition of "I'm hypnotized by you" throughout the song serves to reinforce the idea that the singer is unable to extricate themselves from the object of their fascination. Additionally, the line "I'll hook you up with a lighter, watch you get inspired" could suggest that the singer is drawn to someone who is creative or visionary, and that they find this person's energy intoxicating.
The following lines, "By lights, colors, attractions, both creatures of action" further reinforce the idea that the singer is drawn to people who are vibrant and dynamic, and that they themselves may be inclined towards action rather than introspection. However, the lyric "I roam around in my gallery, casually sipping daiquiris, waiting on the day I unveil my greatest masterpiece" suggests that the singer may also have a creative streak, but that they are perhaps more passive in their approach. The phrase "I found in me a sprouting tree with roots from the membrane" could further represent the singer's growth and development as an artist or as a person.
Overall, "Hypnotized" seems to be a song about desire, artistic inspiration, and the allure of creativity and potential. The lyrics paint a picture of a person who is deeply engrossed in the world around them, and who is seeking out experiences and interactions that will feed their own growth and creativity.
