Loveblood
Sundara Karma Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Waiting with my arms out
Whisper then a loud shout
Lost in the way she says my name
I'm such a creep
Fortune brought me lovers
Shadowed taro colors
Fated to kill the sweetest things
One by one

Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?
Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?

Hiding in the silence
One-way form of violence
Taste of the thunder from her thighs
Makes me shake
Calmly kicking outwards
Is she misunderstood?
Walking along the razor's edge
And she sweetly moans

Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?

Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?
Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?
Hey, what's that from above?
Is it love for blood?

One last kiss and away she goes
Obsessed with loveblood and yet no one knows

if they became mainstream it would ruin them imo, they'd have a following of teen girls

jay Lewis and so what? If they get popular shouldn't change their music at all, and having recognition as an artist for whatever you do is like pretty much everything you work for (among other things of course), despite of the age of whoever hears it, the thing is to transmit something and make people feel, not being recognize enough doesn't make anyone a greater artist just as having millions of fan being mainstream doesn't make someone worse..

Random:- I discovered sundara karma one or two years ago accidentally. So I basically listen to a lot of indie Indian music ( I'm ethnically Indian) and I was listening to some random songs on Spotify and that's when their song 'she said' got recommended to me. I saw their name and was like "wow what a pretty name! " ( sundara karma means good deeds in Sanskrit btw). I heard the song and was astonished by their accents because I thought it was an Indian band at first. Then I started digging deep and came across more of their music. I fell in love with their songs and they're prolly my favorite band till date

Funny story, the drummer's dad actually comes in to the chippy I work in every Friday and I had no idea he was Haydn's dad until my boss was speaking to him and was like "Oh yeah my son's in a band called Sundara Karma" and he told me as he knows I love them and then a couple weeks later Haydn went to see Mark (his dad) and they organised for him to actually come to my house and meet me. If you don't believe me, I have a picture for proof :)
