In the last game you went for the Devoted Druid combo with Ouphe in play but because Swift Reconfiguration turns it into an artifact it wouldn't work anyways. Just something to keep in mind when sideboarding Ouphe.

One interesting interaction with this deck that didn’t come up in this league is that if you go into forge and put the counters on the devoted druid, it lets you tap it even more times, letting you ramp out a coco without swift recon

quick note for times like at 57:10, swift recon makes the enchanted permanent a artifact, and ouphe/null rod will stop their abilities so you can't infinite with them on board. Also is stopped by an opposing Karn TGC.

See I like the utility of the swift reconfiguration as kind of a removal spell outside of the combo in a way, but I personally feel like not having vizier of remedies in the list was kind of a miss because there were certainly scenarios where if the swift reconfiguration was a vizier of remedies you would have just spiked a win.

I feel like this deck would function better in Modern with Heliod in lieu of Dungeon, is there any particular reason it's a Legacy build, besides Swift Reconfig?

Because I was asked to build a legacy deck by the sponsor. And reconfiguration is a big loss to move to modern.

At 13:15 I think you can just as well wait to crack the canopy after your draw step, and if you have nothing to do with the mana you never have to put the -1/-1 counter

In that sequence, the only mana that's not getting used is from canopy, so if you feel a pressing need to use it I'd activate duskwatch.

Since he's flooded at the time, I think that's actually a pretty good line - it's not like he's going to untap and need access to the treasure or regret the -1/-1 much. The only cards that care about >4 mana are ballista and recruiter for ballista, but spending the canopy mana now is worth ~1/3 of a card. The extra mana is even less important if you're letting duskwatch flip on that turn.

Been trying to find a way to express this comment in a few words. But i dont think having 4 cards of two effects is not a package because it just ruins more mulls then it lines up active. You can have 3 recogs in a hand with a devoted druid and you'd still be prompted to mull.
Swift reconfig needs to synergize with the rest of the deck it just cant be a worse prismatic ending and maybe an infinite mana combo.

I wonder if the Devoted Druid combo is worth it. Anointed Peacekeeper and White Plume Adventurer seem to provide quite the punch. I think the next evolution of this deck would probably be into Maverick (which may just be 3-drop tribal). Pretty sweet to see some dual color non-blue decks doing well (except against removal heavy decks apparently) in Legacy.

25:22 I think playing around Wasteland here wasn't necessary with 4 lands and 2 nobles in hand. It's probably a good thing if they Wasteland you and let mom lose sickness

3 can really start to hurt. It seems good until early game you start doing 2 a turn to yourself for 3 turns whilst you get going.

I used to play 4 in modern bogles, and whilst they're fine, and bogles can gain a ton of life easily, it was often a bit rough. I'd never personally play more than 2 in a non-lands oriented deck.

At 44:00, swift recon has flash, couldn't you enchant the druid in response to the Solitude target on the Stack? You then have 2 CoCos in hand to possibly survive the turn

am i missing something? at 32:30, shouldnt the dress down stop the white plume from going on the stack to untap the peacekeeper? not game changing just worried about a bug

Dress Down doesn't matter anymore. Whit Plume happens in upkeep, and Dress Down effect ends in cleanup.

Loran is a bad sb card - when was the last time someone played Rec Sage in Legacy? If you want to do Hullbreacher combo things, you can do a lot more for 3 mana than draw 1 card and make 1 treasure. Especially given that you also have to have be the 3 mana 2/1 survive a turn cycle

M4G1 was exactly why I don't think that White Initiative is a healthy deck in the format. The board they have taking you to 2 on turn 3 is nigh insurmountable for a lot of decks. The only deck that can manage to handle it is Hot Bant/Bant with Terminus. Even Fury doesn't stop that board.
