1) Sybil (born as Sybil Lynch in Paterson, N.J.) is an American R&B/pop singer, an excellent vocalist and one of the finest among disco divas, who has been recording since 1986.
She is best known for her covers of Dionne Warwick's hits "Don't Make Me Over" and "Walk On By".
However, it was when she signed with the music UK producers Stock Aitken Waterman on label PWL, that Sybil had the biggest success, and was particularly popular in the UK. She had two massive hit in 1993: The first, a West End production of "The Love I Lost", originally a hit for Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes, and the second, "When I'm Good And Ready", an original song written by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman after Matt Aitken had left the company.
Her most successful album was also released that year: "Good n Ready". The same year, her US album Doin' It Now was released.
Most of Sybil's hits have been covers of standards, and her career gradually evolved from dance towards soul/pop. Her last single to date was released in 1997.

What hits me the hardest is how Sybil tries to recuperate after being replaced by a different side of her. The way she'll act as if she was there the whole time just to appear normal, or her reaction to realizing she was in a completely different room than she was when she smelled the disinfectant that triggered her switch, it's really heartbreaking. The woman who played her mother (Martine Bartlett) is a great actress - she scares the HELL out of me. She was also Natalie Wood's high school teacher in Splendor in the Grass - the scene where Natalie Wood must recite a romantic poem to the teacher and has a nervous breakdown. The woman specialized in making girls crack up!

I seen this movie a long time ago on T.V and watched it with my aunt & Mom , this shows what severe Child abuse does to a young child . We have alot of messed up young people still today in our word who went through some of the similiar same abuse individually or al of the same . They should air this movie on a well known t.v. channel or a Free streaming site that Roku supports , This needs to be seen by everyone to make an awareness and address the real problems of Severe Mental child abuse so alot who went through some similar abuse could learn to get help before they have kids of their own and the abuse is not passed on to their kids and so on and so forth .

Same here! I was the exact age as well. I remember watching with my mother at the time. I can't remember if I watched the whole mini series or not but I remember it being disturbing for me. I always felt extremely sorry for her. I'd like to watch this again someday. On a passing note Sally Field was one heck of a cutie back then. LOL

She also has a small part in an episode of the Twilight Zone. She's normal in that one, lol. It's my favorite episode of TZ though, with the elderly Gladys Cooper who did 3 episodes of TZ. It's called "Night Call", and Martine plays Ms. Finch, the telephone operator. TZ is on Netflix. It's almost weird seeing her play someone normal after watching her in Sybil.

If I was to write a documentary of my life, it would be different from Sybil. A breeze would whisk softly through the leaves down to the top of a hair uncombed. The audience would see immediately that I am quite alone among the thousands of acres of trees. There is my home...an old leaning plank chicken shack. My wounded and bleeding hands would be working the people...not real people mind you....just a collection of mismatched twigs and sticks. "What a wonderful evening for a ball, would you not agree?" The sticks suddenly turn into swirling skirts to the sound of violins as my swollen eyes concentrated on the next Waltzy performance. We have suddenly turned today into yesterday back before cars were born. I was so perfectly prepared for Auschwitz.

Caroll Baker had developed several personas for movies. She was the youngest understudy for Marilyn Monroe both in movies and photo shoots. In the movie, "Blue Sky" the actress, Jessie Lange, is cornered into a corner and a switch is made to Tuesday Weld. William Holden had dozens of personas and was used as Rex Harrison's understudy in My Fair Lady. William had dozens of teeth and wigs and played Terry Thomas in The Great Race. But, he had others that were just characters in the background and not the main character. Nevertheless, it still involves a certain amount of self-hypnosis but like Tuesday Weld...things can be overwhelming when playing a similar character, right?

Sybil had so many secrets. Right now, at this moment in time, the movie, "Unless", is on tv. It is a story about, "Nora". Nora seemed normal then one day, the said parents find Nora sitting in front of, Honest Ed's, a store in Toronto. No one knows why? One day, said Nora is off to school...and then,said parents find Nora sitting a mute, almost catatonic. THIS NORA does NOT speak. It seems that an actress was walking down a street in Toronto...it was the beginning of a movie...no script...not less than half an hour in the movie...then a man pours gas on himself and sets himself on fire.

Dissociative Identity Disorder is real. though it's been said that the real Sybil was hypnotized into believing she was abused, no one really knows. It's possible that this disorder could be cured, but it requires a lot of effort and time. Most of the time, this disorder is not cured.

Even for the people who considered to be cured or integrated can still split if trauma were to hit the system again in the future. Only due to the fact that the child was taught how to dissociate by the trauma so the brain has a natural affinity for dissociating after it's taught

2020 and I saw this movie when I was just 15. Sally was young in this. The thing is I didn't think about if U are out of your mind it could be because something was so disturbing as a child that it effected your adulthood. Well back then we just thought the mama was crazy. She was but it was a mental illness for her too. Somebody got her like that as well. Wish they had a,part two, telling why her mom did such bad things. U can tell something got to her the same way she got to Sybil. They had such a cute little girl play that part. So innocent.

Did anyone watch the movie, "mother!" with Jennifer Lawrence. It is a strange movie and the audience is lost and left with questions...not quite what one expected. Sybil/Jennifer Lawrence wrote the movie. It is about a woman that takes over a rundown, burned out house and refurbishes it. The house represents many houses, sort of. But, mostly, for this part...Hollywood...as Hayley Mills buys up the studios, painting and polishing. What ever a director, singer, orchestra, writer wanted...they merely had to ask for it. Hundreds of people would be hired to play the part of the audience for musicians for example. To give the musicians a sort of pride that they could reach for the stars...just look at the audience. Audiences were paid for minor singers or solo like Cher, Tammy Wynette and hundreds of others as Sybil composed music and hired lookalikes, who could not sing, to mimic the singers. Audiences were instant. Things sort of got out of hand as audiences hired started to turn on the singers and actors turned on directors and producers. Even the man at the gate was given warnings not to, "let anyone in." He, too, turned the ear. People would crash into the studios stealing almost anything. They even went to the houses stealing without consent and Elvis was only one of the victims. Cher, Sharon Tate...countless actors being beaten raped, tortured and even murdered. The audience is bewildered as police arrive followed by an army into the, "mother!" house. It is Hollywood. At the end, Sybil would burn down studios and only empty lots would remain. The writers? They could not actually write. They followed the clues left by Sybil but was useless on their own whether it was, "Star Wars," or, "Harry Potter". It seemed like no one had a starting point...just blanks as they sat around. Even with the movie, "Dances with Wolves," one sees Sybil running in the credits which was not in the movie. It seems that someone contacted the said FBI to have the writer/producer arrested and ran back to Canada. The actors had to come to Canada...to a play outside London, Ontario for the wedding scene as, "What is the ending? We don't have an ending. You have to tell us the ending. The ending is, "mother!" There will be no more audiences paid to beat up the one providing the financing. There will be no more free movie sets and offices wherein people sit that do not pay rent nor utilities. There will be no studio left for the negros and Spanish to walk towards setting businesses owned by the Chinese and others...turning cars over and looting the places. Sharon Stone stood at the end. "Take the insurance off of the studios." It took only one match to end it all.

Sybil had the lost of vision. First, episode, the movie director placed plastic inside and over one eyeball. Second, 1966 Montreal, a fan threw hot water into the face and Vaseline was smeared under the lids to keep the lids from melting onto the eyeball. Third, shortly, within weeks of the hot water...a fan spread a chemical into the eyes.

One of the brightest performances is under the name of Billie Jo Spears. It is also a dark performance, on tv stage, singing, "On the blanket in the moonlight". Why? Cause the band consisted of musicians with the arms or legs, fingers or toes cut off. Why are you singing with them...what did you lose? "Part of my vagina was cut off with a knife." The song was banned in various cities in the US. Sybil had lawyers sue politicians. The song was televised to raise monies for wooden and metal hands, feet and legs. I love this song.

Blake Gildaphish if you are referring to sybil- it is not a darkness. it is not frightening that people with DID exist. it is frightening to know that evil people will traumatise children so much that the child's brain has to split in order to maintain functionality and continue to live and work through the trauma. one person can't hold all the trauma, so more are created to hold it.

Sybil had Hollywood covers for almost all of the characters as Sybil had a rare form of epilepsy. Sybil's daughter also has a rare form of epilepsy called, "Alice syndrome" which some doc's feel falls under Schizophrenia & was hospitilized in a London On hospital. Her daughter was unconscious for 24 hours but pre she had visions of fire or smoke. Sybil would go to sleep for 10 - 24 hrs & not recall immediately what had happened the days before which is common in epilepsy, rite?

In 1970, he died, Lambert Joseph Wigle, and I cried and cried hysterically. Yesterday, I remembered he was not my grandfather. I had hidden under the floor boards of a log cabin said belonging to Roxanne Hoffman (Wounded Knee survivor) said married to Lambert. He was not my grandfather...the old man presenting himself.

A Canadian unemployed construction worker went into every hospital in North America. He was paid to report unusual cases as part explanation as to why a California mother died leaving a sick child behind and why the family of a Montreal police officer and his whole family died from common but unknown causes. There had to be a cause besides the Montreal family visiting New York...right? The construction worker, mid 60's, right from the start, found a comment, in a New York file..from a scientific researcher, wherein he demanded that the hospital write down his idea of the cause of death...which was...dropping research material onto a cut/bite. He was extremely serious that someone, out there, would pick up the thread. The first 7000 AIDS patients were from the negative blood lines...like the researcher, right? Sybil had an ultra, ultra persona, known shortly, right, as Dr. Margaret Hamburg...like who in this world would try to say that they were Dr. Hamburg or relatives...there were no Hamburg families. Dr. Margaret Hamburg, who a's a physics contest at the age of 10 in Canada beating out scientist/educators/etc, would create a new dna to combat the negative problem which may, or not, have resulted in AIDS...the negative...that now had the D gene known only to monkeys, pigs and part of the human race as RH positive...by producing AB blood to win over the negative dna from negative infested with the human an animal d gene. Sybil would go further..."place AB blood in all of the detective stories on tv...make it seem like a lesser unknown family...but it is here." All is normal. RH negative children dying from the introduction of the d gene from monkey or human...would no longer be negative but AB. Some say that anyone can receive a blood transfusion from AB...but...these patients were once AIDS, right? Like what the f..? Wait...wait a very long time before taking a blood transfusion from a AB donor? Did Montgomery Festival...spoon AIDS...as it belonged once to a science researcher...that is...if attenders wandered off to other facilities???? Sybil was not asked IF a studio, or unknown arranger could actually use these land.

Anne was in the movie, Anne Frank's Diary, enterwing between Diane Baker and Hermaine, the woman hiding the Jews...Patricia Rozema. The movie starts with a very important clue, Listen, "There shall be music", over and over again. Patricia was first singer/composer for dozens of singers, Cher, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, etc.

And, the carousel goes round and round. Kim Novak claimed to have a love child with Clarke Gable, right? Bonnie Blue Butler, Sybil's assigned name in, "Gone with the Wind", was also claimed to be a Clarke Gable baby, right? Was she? I can remember, "Gone with the wind," and the time was changed back 10 years or so, perhaps to confuse the tax revenuers? Yet, Kim Novak claimed that Bonnie Blue Butler was her child with expectations. Jerry Lee Lewis also claimed Bonnie Blue Butler as did dozens of other famous actors. When Kim Novak made her claims, by this time Bonnie Blue had the name of Judy Lewis. Gosh? I remember coming back to Judy Lewish in 2003 or so and I just forgot all about Judy Lewis. Can I hang on to Judy Lewis? I don't think so. Someone gave me a bird magazine gift. A bird was sitting on a branch. "I know this bird...it is as common (in the north) as Robin and sparrow. " I tried to remember. I've always remembered. This year, I can not remember the word for, " Chickadee a bird I saw, for years, on a day to day basis. Will I remember Judy? NO. Judy had several names before the age of 4. It was not uncommon for studios to employee orphans. I am a orphan with several dna counts shared with Royals and with the Sioux First Nations. Most First Nations are referred to as, "Heinz 57", due to the multiple dna samples composed throughout several generations. Kim Novak only has several photos of her said daughter. Clarke Gable has thousands as he performed as James Mason with Sybil/Georgy Girl with extra chin fats added and other movies. Randolph Scott also claimed parentage as did his cousin, Mel Wigle, one of the stunt men for Randolph Scott...but both came much later. Here we are. A surgeon gave me 5 years to live and I would not survive but here I am...what difference does it make..who is what?

Dora's Dunkn Donuts...said to be 1930's but 1941 was probably closer to the date. Andy Clyde was an old actor born back in the 1800's, a time corresponding to Lambert Joseph Wigle. Something dreadful happened on the set and Andy grabbed me and ran off to Canada taking me with him.
