The lyrics to "Set Fire To The Rain" by SycAmour are highly emotive and expressive. The opening lines describe the singer's heart falling, and as it does, the object of their affection claims it. The singer was in a dark place before they were saved by the person who kissed them. They admit to being weak in the presence of this person, falling to their feet in their arms.

The chorus is highly memorable, representing the singer's anger towards the deceitful nature of their lover. They burn metaphorical fire to the rain, which pours as they touch their lover's face.
