1. torr is an electronic pop artist based in New York City. He is a founder and member of the band webcage.
2. Törr is a black/thrash metal band from the Prague, Czech Republic, formed in 1977, and still going strong. Regarded by many as the fathers of Czech metal, they have influenced a Czech many other Czech bands.
Originally their name was simply Torr like the old pressure unit. In 1981 they changed their name to Törr, inspired by the name of Motörhead. Törr also means "lame" in slang Swedish, but this very probably wasn't intended.

The lyrics of Törr's song "Válka s nebem", translated as "War with the Heavens", are in Czech and describe the band's rejection of organized religion, particularly the Catholic Church. The opening lines of the song, "We'll vomit on the priest and light the cross, then flush him down the toilet so he's closer to hell", are a clear indication of the song's rebellious and irreverent attitude.
The chorus, consisting only of the words "War with the heavens", reinforces the idea that the band is waging a war against religious institutions that in their view, impose their dogmatic beliefs and practices on society, suppressing individual freedom and creativity.
The second verse, "We'll desecrate the churches and defecate on the altar, then extinguish the halo with our own urine," continues the profanity-laden imagery. The final lines, "We'll drive the pissers into the holy water, and present our sweaty asses to God," sound like a challenge to the divine power and an assertion of the band's own autonomy.

ten text byl nej ke konci : vyhoníme čuráky do vody svěcený- tak to bylo fakt hustý. Torr je asi ne Black v ČR pravda je sakra dobrej nebo je lepší Root nevim ale obě skupiny sou moc dobrý.
