I’ve never heard of this tea either and I’m an avid tea drinker in Canada. Perhaps it’s common in Vancouver as some are suggesting but I grew up in Manitoba and have spent the rest of my life in Alberta and I’ve never heard of the brand.

Those of us from Victoria or Vancouver will have heard of Murchies. I've certainly had tea at the original Murchies in Victoria, but it isn't the tea I drink on a daily basis, which is either Yorkshire Gold or Tetley.

The Irish standard tea is not much better quality than Lipton, though it is much stronger, so sugar and milk are normally added, creating a completely different flavor than a regular strength tea with water.

Assan, Oolong, Yunnan and Ceylon are all fantastic sources of fine teas. You just need a bit of a palette for it, just like for anything else, really.

When the pandemic is over, you should visit our Rocky mountains. They are granite and are so tall you can't see people at the bottom. The top is usually covered in a glacier or is flatish and about the size of a football field

Murchies is actually pretty excellent tea. One of their original shops was in the town where I went to school (Victoria) and was just an excellent place to go to for a tea and a small desert.

Exactly Debbie as another Canadian these are specialty teas....Not what CANADAINS drink on Mass...and most commonly we add milk an sugar to Tea usually...but its a personal preference of course , Red Rose probably being one of the Top Teas an (orange pekoe blend) followed by Earl Greys... although now are many more teas on the Market.

Tetley with milk and sugar, distant second is red rose, and Tim Horton's chai with cream and sugar. Not sure the brand there trying though

Murchies! That's from Victoria, my home town. But I usually get Yorkshire Gold or Bewleys Irish Breakfast, both of which are imported for the Canadian market. Growing up, we always had Red Rose or Tetley. Sometimes we'd get Blue Ribbon, which was the cheapest bottom of the barrel tea. Those are the cheaper teas. And btw, Government street is the street that leads to the BC parliament buildings in Victoria.

Our Canadian teas aren’t strong enough so I double bag my cup. It’s rather disappointing yes. Grandpa was Irish and we always drank tea in the morning, noon and night. He even took a thermos of tea to work at the mill.

Love tea, love all the wonderful women on Try, particularly their sass! So, you might try something that we have in America, Illinois and Missouri in particular. Sassafras tea! It has a very unique taste, and it is not true that it causes cancer. Cheers.

We Canadians on the Atlantic coast are very much like the UK and Ireland. We love our tea and have some really good black teas that you guys would like. King Coal and Red Rose are two best sellers, not those fancy ones you were drinking lol

I buy Hibiscus 🌺 from the Mexican grocery store they have bags for like $4.99 in my opinion the flavor reminds me of red kool aid if I put more sugar. I don't know why we call it Jamaican water (Agua De Jamaica) in Spanish we don't call it tea I don't think anyone drinks it hot either that's the only one I buy tho. I like that when I get thirsty. I drink it like if it's red kool aid 🤓🤓 I don't think the Hibiscus tea has the earthy flavor like it was rubbed on dirt.

Yep, there's a piece of them making up a big chunk of my view and while the snow may be reasonably heavy in some spots right now, it's definitely rocks all summer.
