Canada Goose Canada Goose Canada Goose
Sip from the truth sip from the truth sip from the truth
Canada Goose Canada Goose Canada Goose
Sip from the truth sip from the truth sip from the truth

Yea the birds in the sky yea the birds know my name
Clearer vision on me now so I'm staying in my lane
Living legend to the people so i'm starting my own wave
Can't be stopped I'm getting stronger now I'm feeding off the pain
Yea the birds in the sky yea the birds know my name
Clearer vision on me now so I'm staying in my lane
Living legend to the people so i'm starting my own wave
Can't be stopped I'm getting stronger now I'm feeding off the pain

Canada Goose come sip from the truth hallucinate
Feeling ya all, wanted some more, every move you make
Giving me hope excepting it all even the hate
Connecting my mind, connecting my soul, you are my mate
Taking my back, you gotta go deep, to ease my mind
I humble myself, and now I thank you with these rhymes
Taking my blinders off, now you giving me new eyes
I live in the now so I'm just cruising enjoying the ride

Cruising enjoying the ride cruising enjoying the ride yup
Cruising enjoying the ride cruising enjoying the ride
Cruising enjoying the ride cruising enjoying the ride yup
Cruising enjoying the ride cruising enjoying the ride

Yea the birds in the sky yea the birds know my name
Clearer vision on me now yea i'm staying in my lane
Living legend to the people so i'm starting my own wave
Can't be stopped I'm getting stronger now I'm feeding off the pain
Yea the birds in the sky yea the birds know my name
Clearer vision on me now yea i'm staying in my lane

Living legend to the people so i'm starting my own wave
Can't be stopped I'm getting stronger now I'm feeding off the pain

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of T.E.A's "Canada" seem to be about finding comfort and guidance in nature, represented by the Canada goose. The repetition of "Canada Goose" and "sip from the truth" may indicate the idea of taking in something pure and honest, akin to drinking from a natural spring. The mention of birds in the sky, and them knowing the singer's name, could be interpreted as the singer feeling a sense of connectedness to the natural world. This connection leads to the singer feeling more confident and determined, as seen in lines like "Living legend to the people so I'm starting my own wave" and "Can't be stopped I'm getting stronger now I'm feeding off the pain". The song is ultimately about finding strength and purpose through connecting with nature.

The song's title, "Canada", likely references the country of the same name. It's possible that the Canada goose, which can be found in both the United States and Canada, is a symbol for the peaceful relationship between the two countries. T.E.A, whose full name is Tariq Allen, is a rapper and singer from New York City. He has also released music under the name Yung Tarius. "Canada" is off of his 2018 album "Ain't No Love Without Pain".

@Darren Crawford If you're interested, this is what their website says... "Since 1894, Murchie’s has been importing and blending the finest quality teas from select gardens around the world.

As a young boy working for Melrose's of Scotland, a prestigious tea import merchant in Britain, John Murchie delivered tea to Queen Victoria while she was in residence at Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Over time, John became familiar with the types of teas the Queen preferred and as his knowledge of tea grew, he started experimenting with blending teas on his own.

When John immigrated to Canada and settled on the West Coast, he brought with him his passion and expertise in tea. He took this passion and pioneering spirit to establish Murchie's Tea in 1894. The art of blending teas has been passed down from John along with his dedication to providing the best quality products for his discerning customers.

Murchie's Today
We proudly operate 9 retail stores within Greater Vancouver and Greater Victoria, plus a mail order division and a growing online store servicing customers the world over.

We are focused on procuring only the highest quality teas and 100% Arabica coffees from the world's finest tea gardens and coffee regions. All of these raw products are shipped directly to our production facility in Delta, BC where the coffee beans are freshly roasted ‘just right’ and the teas are expertly blended and packaged for customer enjoyment. I’m the Canadian that comes to an Irish channel and 99% of the time has never heard of any of the Canadian items lol. I’m simple folk. Give me an orange pekoe with cream and sugar , or a earl grey or black roobiboos and I’m happy.

@Airene Smiler Well, I'm from Surrey, BC, just east of Vancouver, and I've never had nor heard of it. One used to go to David's tea in a local mall for the fancy tea stuff. But the best tea in the world (in my opinion) is the Jasmine tea I had in Chengdu, China.
