T.I. Lyrics

Never underestimate the power of this money
Ran through Brick walls for a little bit of money
I guess I like being broke
Fucking with broke bitches
On a mission to these riches
In and Out of Benz'
Peep me through your Gucci Lenz'
The money make em listen
Controlling You broke bitches
Wanna bitch yelling menace
Smoking and Drinking Henny
If I was a broke a nigga she'd be highly offended
But Would she be offended if she knew the Benz was Rented
Driven off grinning I just stole the poohnani
It's not about the money but it's all about the money
Treat me like a dummy and I'm a treat you like a dummy
Ain't no getting lucky when you out here Chac3 $ Money
Never Underestimate the power of this money
Its that west coast shit I'm a talk my shit
Smokin through the streets on that 64 shit
Its SacTown DownTown On that Get high Shit
Big Bag Big Enough to get by Bitch
Never underestimate the power of this money
Ran through Brick walls for a little bit of money
Another level Hungry Starving until the morning
For me? It ain't just about the money
I guess I like being broke
Fucking with broke bitches
On a mission to these riches
In and Out of Benz'
It's not about the money but it's all about the money
Never Underestimate the power of this money
Its that west coast shit I'm a talk my shit
Smokin through the streets on that 64 shit
SacTown DownTown On that Get high Shit
Big Bag Big Enough to get by Bitch
Never underestimate the power of this money
Ran through Brick walls for a little bit of money
Another level Hungry Starving until the morning
For me? It aint just about the money
In these lyrics, T.I. reflects on the power and influence that money has in his life. He acknowledges that he has gone to great lengths for the sake of money, even breaking metaphorical "brick walls." However, he admits that he has developed a liking for being broke and associating with women who are also broke. T.I. sees himself on a constant mission to acquire riches, flexing his success in his Benz and Gucci accessories. He believes that money has a way of making people pay attention to him and gives him control over those who are financially struggling.
Despite the focus on money, T.I. suggests that it's not solely about the material wealth. He points out that treating him poorly leads to him treating others poorly in return. He also questions whether a woman would still be offended by his actions if she knew that the Benz he drives is actually rented. Overall, the lyrics convey T.I.'s understanding of the power of money and how it affects his relationships and actions.
