As of October 2008, T.I. has had nine Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles, with 3 of them reaching number 1 ("My Love" by Justin Timberlake on which T.I. was featured, "Whatever You Like," & "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna).
The Love This Life Songfacts reports that Love This Life, the first official single from T.I.'s eighth album, Trouble Man, was released on April 2, 2012 via YouTube.
T.I. is from Bankhead, Atlanta, Georgia and was raised by his grandparents. T.I. explained the origin of his nickname Rubber Band Man, saying, "We used to wear rubber bands to signify how much money, how much blow we had." He was nicknamed "Tip" after his paternal great-grandfather. Upon signing with Arista Records subsidiary LaFace Records in 2001, he shortened his name to T.I. out of respect for label mate Q-Tip.
T.I. has been in a relationship with former Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Cottle since 2001. Together, they have two sons: King and Major Harris. He has three other children with ex-girlfriend Lashon Dixon: Domani, Messiah and Deyjah. Overall, T.I. has five children.
T.I. was co-executive producer of B.G.'s upcoming album and making beats for artists like Mariah Carey, Cassidy, Rick Ross, Maino, B.o.B., Yung Joc, Young Dro, and himself. He also executive produced the soundtrack to the film Hustle & Flow and released the collection through his record label.

Hey, when I think about all my time and all my struggle
Through all my grinding and all my troubles
Man I came out from nothing , all I had was a hustle
With a blindfold trying to find pieces to the puzzle, no muzzle
I tell it like it is, that's that, right or wrong, I'm a call it how I see it
Don't forget that impossible is nothing, you're environment's irrelevant
Refuse to give up, your mistakes don't define you
They don't dictate where you heading, they remind you
That time keep ticking, let your mind keep clicking
Never stop thinking, be aware of your decisions
And beware of the collisions and the potholes hidden
In the road that you travel on your lifelong mission
Just listen, everyday like a snap shot taken
If you live you could learn to just be patient
'Cause life is like a slide show
All the places I go
And all the things that I know
Through all the highs and lows
'Cause life is like a slide show
And all the things that I've seen
And all the things that I've dreamed
You cant take away from me
'Cause life is like a slide show
As I look back at a fly young cat
Who could rap with a dream, look where I took that
Beginnin' on Bankhead, then it spread out
Vision in my head, all I had to do is to get it out
When I walked out of my house, and look at my street
All I seen is opportunity that lead me to truancy
I ain't really have a role model to influence me
Uncle Quint, they said next it's gon' be you in it
As a juvenile caught cases so fluently
Look at my life and learn from it, don't do it
If I only knew back then what I know now,
How much better life woulda been if I'da slowed down
Maybe I 'da been Kanye, instead of seeing gun play
But God got a plan, I'll understand one day (yeah, yeah)
But one day of life, like a snap shot taken (yeah)
Just believe you can make it happen, be patient
'Cause life is like a slide show
All the places I go
And all the things that I know
Through all the highs and lows
'Cause life is like a slide show
And all the things that I've seen
And all the things that I've dreamed
You can't take away from me
'Cause life is like a slide show
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Looking back on my life time (ooh)
See the slides go by (ooh)
Time to wonder why
Looking back on where I've been
I remember when
You remember then
'Cause life is like a slide show
All the places I go
And all the things that I know
Through all the highs and lows
'Cause life is like a slide show
And all the things that I've seen
And all the things that I've dreamed
You cant take away from me (oh)
'Cause life is like a slide show
Oh
'Cause life is like a slide show
Oh, oh
'Cause life is like a slide show
I've seen, I've dreamed
Oh life is like a slide show
Oh, oh, oh, oh
T.I.'s "Slide Show" is an introspective look at his life journey so far. The lyrics describe his humble beginnings and the hard work that got him to his current success. He talks about making mistakes and learning from them instead of letting them define him. He urges listeners to not let their circumstances dictate their future and to always be aware of their decisions. The chorus of the song repeats the metaphor that life is like a slide show where all the places we go and the things we experience are captured in snapshots that we can look back on and learn from.
The lyrics are powerful and inspiring, urging listeners to push through tough times and create their own success. The chorus is catchy and easy to sing along to, while the verses are thoughtful and well-written. The overall message of the song is one of hope and perseverance.

One of the RARE songs that display the wholesome side of Hip Hop in the mainstream rap game.

That first verse is fucking genius. There's a little section between 0.33 - 0:48 that is literally what every parent needs to repeat to their kids constantly throughout their lives - touches my soul I swear, so much real advice in that tiny space of time.
Khalyle Edwards
Jaikay1 there's also a message between 1:36 - 1:56 that parents need to repeat to their kids to remind them of their choices in life
