As of October 2008, T.I. has had nine Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles, with 3 of them reaching number 1 ("My Love" by Justin Timberlake on which T.I. was featured, "Whatever You Like," & "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna).
The Love This Life Songfacts reports that Love This Life, the first official single from T.I.'s eighth album, Trouble Man, was released on April 2, 2012 via YouTube.
T.I. is from Bankhead, Atlanta, Georgia and was raised by his grandparents. T.I. explained the origin of his nickname Rubber Band Man, saying, "We used to wear rubber bands to signify how much money, how much blow we had." He was nicknamed "Tip" after his paternal great-grandfather. Upon signing with Arista Records subsidiary LaFace Records in 2001, he shortened his name to T.I. out of respect for label mate Q-Tip.
T.I. has been in a relationship with former Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Cottle since 2001. Together, they have two sons: King and Major Harris. He has three other children with ex-girlfriend Lashon Dixon: Domani, Messiah and Deyjah. Overall, T.I. has five children.
T.I. was co-executive producer of B.G.'s upcoming album and making beats for artists like Mariah Carey, Cassidy, Rick Ross, Maino, B.o.B., Yung Joc, Young Dro, and himself. He also executive produced the soundtrack to the film Hustle & Flow and released the collection through his record label.

Hey, where the piano at shawty?
Y'all ain't never seen a dope boy play the piano and rap at the same time
Have you?
I'ma show you somethin', dig this
[Verse 1]
I'm 22 and a vet in the game
Time, rhyme bout the times I invested in 'caine
Pleasure and pain in every aspect of the game
I'm the answer to yo prayers if you prayin' for change
So, I dare you compare us and say we the same
When I'm, climbin' the ladder, they stuck in the same
Mind frame, they accomplishments are nothin' to gain
Eventually, see I'm outta yo range
Except this rose gold glow from my wrist and my chain
I entertain young niggas who slang
Like a picture, no frame, see it's simple and plain
My shit bang, spit flames, put niggas to shame
Flow so insane, lyrics sick and derranged
Now you can't, mention my city unless you mention my name
T-I-P-I-M-P, I'm the man
[Chorus]
Hey be easy, you don't want no trouble with me
Just be easy, the drama ain't nothin' to me
Hey be easy, before you have problems just breathe
Hey be easy, you ain't worth dyin', believe me
Just be easy, you don't want yo mama to grieve
Be easy, well mind yo bizness, don't bother the G
Be easy, swear you stuntin' but you frontin' to me
Be easy, behind the scenes or behind yo greasy
Hey, be easy
[Verse 2]
See y'all kissin' ass when I came to leave
Set the standard for Atlanta, rearranged the lead
Okay, so what the fuck is fame to me?
I been plottin' since kindergarten, you's a lame to me
I give the niggas what they came to see
A reflection of one self where they aim to be
As you can see it ain't no change in me
And you won't meet another nigga off the chain as me
I'm so fly, no lie, don't deny it, ya feel it
So inspired by my style, decided to try it yourself
Bet you won't, meet nobody ranked as high as myself
The checks you waitin' on, homes, I can sign them myself
Tote gats, dro smoked that, now I'm high
Seats way back in the Maybach I ride
Through the streets of the westside, I slap five
And throw dubs, show love, nigga
[Chorus]
[Outro]
(Be easy)
What it is pimp? T.I.P., Trap Muzik, understand that?
Grand Hustle pimp! Ay, whats happenin' Toomp?
Let's ride out homie! What it is man?
P$C, Pimp Squad Click, shawty!
Uh, uh, a-town, stay down..
Keep it pimpin', pimpin'!
In T.I.'s song "Be Easy," the rapper explains his status as a veteran in the hip-hop game and how he has managed to stay relevant in the industry. He speaks about his experiences with selling cocaine and the different emotions that come along with it, from pain to pleasure. T.I. compares himself to other rappers and emphasizes his unique style and flow. In the chorus, he urges anyone who wants to avoid confrontation with him to "be easy" and not cause any trouble since he doesn't consider it worth dying over.
The song's beat, produced by DJ Toomp, is a combination of piano lines and hard-hitting drums. T.I. showcases his lyrical ability by rapping over the beat while skillfully playing the piano, which is rare in the hip-hop genre. The song's lyrics have been analyzed by fans and critics alike, and many consider it as a standout track on T.I.'s album "Trap Muzik", which was released in 2003.
