T.P.A., known as The Profetik Alchemist was born
and raised in the Bay Area. He started writing,
composing music and making mix-tapes as young as
10 years old. Always utilizing the equipment he
had, he started with a cheap Casio keyboard and a
hand-me-down realistic boom-box. He grew up
listening to local Bay Area and West Coast rappers
like: Spice-1, Too Short, Seagram, TuPac, N.W.A.,
Ice Cube, Paris, etc. His influences continued to
expand as he grew up to include artists like
Immortal Technique, Nas, KRS-1, Public Enemy
and so on. As he matured he began to appreciate
music from all genres and he developed a passion
for all music, from classical to heavy metal. The
result is his music, which is the product of an
eclectic fusion based in Hip-Hop with influences
ranging from Alternative, Rock, Pop, R&B, Soul
and so on.
His current style is found somewhere between
Immortal Technique, Linkin Park , TuPac and Cold
Play. The purpose of his music is to appeal to the
ears of as many people as he can reach, by offering
an alternative hip-hop sound, interlaced with deep
and meaningful lyrics. He passionately creates his
music to deliver a complete package to give the
listener a good dose of an experimentally different
sound to set it apart, yet maintain enough of a
commercial edge to appeal to mainstream listeners.
"We are living in crazy times, with so much
negativity and darkness. Many of our lives are filled
with so much loss and devastation that we feel lost
in the world, with nowhere to turn. We all need
some positive inspiration in our lives. I write my
lyrics from my soul and I think what I express is
something that all of us can relate to. I feel that
most of the popular music out there lacks
substance, it’s just empty. My goal is to bring
conscious, thoughtful, meaningful music to the
people with a positive edge." -TPA

Baby tell me why you feeling so blue (why you feeling so blue)

Wipe the tears off your eyes don't you worry I'm here for you

Take my hand baby (oo oh)
Lemme be your man baby (oo oh)
Take my hand baby (oo oh)
I wanna be your man baby (oo oh)
It's been a long time coming and now you've had enough…
…Of love, yeah I know it's tough
(Ouu) Yeah I know it's tough
I know you've been through a lot constantly feeling used
But with me you'll never loose
I promise you'll never loose
I got my eyes on you (my eyes on you)
Na you I choose (na you I choose)
My money on you (my money on you)
We go dance skelewu
I got my eyes on you (my eyes on you)
Na you I choose (na you I choose)
My money on you (my money on you)
