Serious
T.R.I.B.E Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Panties all off on the floor
Close everything and shut the door
Panties all off on the floor
Close everything
Let me come through for the night
Show me your freaky side tonight
Keep on grinding on me right
Giving you what you need all night
Let me come through for the night
Show me your freaky side tonight
Keep on grinding on me right
Giving you what you need all night
Panties all off on the floor
Close everything and shut the door
She wants me to come back over
For some more
Let me spread your legs wide open
About to swim inside of you
Let me spread your legs wide open
About to swim inside
Let me spread your legs wide open
About to swim inside of you
While I set the music on YouTube
For the mood
We gonna start off slow
Then we going to speed it up
Give you this dick
Like you never had before
Enlighten you up, fulfilling you up
Reaching the climax, higher and higher up
While we fuck it up
Got yo body feeling like we in heaven
Let me come through for the night
Show me your freaky side tonight
Keep on grinding on me right
Giving you what you need all night
Let me come through for the night
Show me your freaky side tonight
Keep on grinding on me right
Giving you what you need all night
Giving you what you need

Giving you what you need
Giving you what you need

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of T.R.I.B.E's "Serious" describe a sexual encounter between the singer and his partner. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Let me come through for the night" several times, which can be interpreted as the singer trying to initiate a casual hook-up with someone. The lyrics are provocative and sensual, with the singer urging his partner to let go and discover her "freaky side" with him. He tells her to close everything and shut the door, indicating that this will be a private and intimate experience between the two of them. The mention of panties on the floor also suggests that this is an encounter that has been building up for a while and that they have reached a point where they are ready to get serious physically.

The verses of the song further describe the sexual encounter, with the singer telling his partner to spread her legs wide open so that he can "swim inside" of her. He talks about the need to set the mood with music and hints at exploring different sexual positions and techniques. The lyrics are graphic and explicit, but also convey a sense of intimacy and closeness between the two individuals involved. Overall, the song is all about the singer's desire to fulfill his partner's needs and to have a "serious" sexual experience with them.

@@JC-mb3cq I spelled it correctly.
colĀ·oĀ·nizĀ·er
/ĖˆkƤləĖŒnÄ«zər/
noun
1.
a country that sends settlers to a place and establishes political control over it.

"Portugal was a major colonizer in both Brazil and parts of Africa."

You think? Since pple trying to colonize those places was more than just a few thousand years ago, I will still go with my guess. Also, not just colonizers, I also said outsiders. So anyone they thought would be dangerous to their tribe.

Letā€™s put aside the sheer HYPOCRISY of some of the comments on this channel for a minute (ie. primitive cultures are allowed to be xenophobic and racist, but western cultures are NOT allowed to be that) , you guys are making the mistake of glorifying the ā€œnoble savvageā€, as the saying goes..... however, you tend to FORGET a few things about a lot of these cultures that you mourn over:

1. Many tribes would (and still do) fight with each other over food and land resources : the dominant tribe would take over (colonise) the less dominant tribesā€™ food and land resources, rrape their women, etc

2. There are often No womenā€™s or childrenā€™s rights in these societies and sometimes the children are married off at a young age ...

3. You speak of ā€œreligious indoctrinationā€?? And yet, many of these cultures had very backwards pagan religions, often involving baby or child sacrifice to their false gods ... is that not an indoctrination of sorts???

4. Many times, Cannibalism was common in these tribes...

So tell me, if it werenā€™t for the European colonisation of many of these primitive cultures, WHERE would they be today? They would STILL be living like they were - primitively! As we can see from the tribes left ā€˜untouchedā€™ in the Amazon jungle and some other parts of the world

There would be No roads, no schools, no industry , no buildings, no NOTHING ... colonisation helped to bring these people into the 21ā€™st century - was it always pleasant? No. But still a vast improvement from their old paganistic habits

Despite how dangerous they may be to foreigners, I'm so happy that they've all been able to preserve their culture. So many indigenous and beautiful cultures all over the world have been lost because of colonization and religious indoctrination that it takes a lot of research to even learn that those cultures once existed.

Cultures are beautiful if they reject the demons they worship. They are in darkness and they are tremendously evil.

Actually the second last tribe you mentioned called the Huaorani Tribe, Christian missionaries did make contact and they did kill a group of five of them but later on members of the tribe did become saved and converted to Christianity. There was a documentary movie about it. It's called " Beyond the Gates of Splendor " (also Beyond the Gates) it's an excellent story. The film was released in 2004. It chronicles the events leading up to and following Operation Auca, an attempt to contact the Huaorani tribe of Ecuador.

As an Indigence peoples with body mods formerly unaware of the implication, your video inspired me to start meeting strangers with a club! Is there truly anything you canā€™t remedy by turning to the wisdom of the Stone Age?

What.

Im proud of the tribes that has kept the intruders from coming in to theyā€™re villages šŸ–¤āœ‹šŸ¾šŸ–¤leave people alone let them live in peace

@ColleenG594

I was gonna say the same thing. They are protecting their land, itā€™s their life. Crops , water, animals, itā€™s theirs to maintain. Unfortunately foreigners think they need to save them or ā€œstudyā€ them. Itā€™s a real shame.
