I was really young and didn’t really understand the lyrics, but when I listen to it now, it just motivates me and reminds me that what people think about me doesn’t matter, cuz haters gonna hate!! Rerecording fortunately has allowed listeners like me who follows Taylor lately ( I got familiar to her music from Reputation era) to dance with the excitement of getting a "new" album like the originals. Throughout her rerecordings I learned her Ester games, her swifties' loyalty, her strong love for them and her history of life. The most striking thing I witnessed was the pure talent she has in blending her surrounding stories and her life into lyrics and putting them out for the world to listen and making them absolutely relatable to our daily lives. These rerecordings have really walked me through all the fun she had previously hand in hand and feel the vibe "behind the stories" of each songs. I could cheer up now like you guys cheered up for her in the first place.
