Este tango no fue escrito por Firpo.
Es un tango uruguayo que tuvo su debut en Montevideo en el año 1916.
Lo que iso Firpo fue solamente ponerle "letras" a la musica de Matos Rodriguez.
Pero la musica fue escrira por Matos Rodriguez.
Ponete a llorar argento....y dejate de distorcionar la historia de La Cumparsita.

Y para que sepas.....el tango es uruguayo....por eso la UNESCO lo declaro patrimonio cultural de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay en el año 2009.
