Tarkus is band from Gothenburg, existing of Kalle Lilja (Guitars a.etc. devices, keyboards, piano), KDW (Bass and Voice), Jesper "JeppeBil" Pihl (Drums and Percussion) and Jonathan "The Man" Rinvall (Rythm
Guitar).
In late 2006, Kalle Lilja quited the band and the rest of the members decided to split up.
But they still have plans to record the 'An Observation' album in early 2007.

LA HISTORIA DE LA CAIDA DEL ROCK PERUANO EN ESA EPOCA ES SIMPLE DE COMPRENDERLA……
su caída partió desde que la Prefectura de Lima (avenida Espana) dejaron de dar PERMISOS a los colegios de Lima ( y a sus Provincias igualmente) para que sigan realizando ellos sus bailes de promociones,( que era de costumbre en ese entonces) ya que con sus bailes, donde solo lo hacían contratando a grupos de Rock en Vivo (mayoritariamente) los colegios recaudaban los fondos que les eran necesario para sus viajes y anillos de promoción que necesitaban ellos al finalizar sus anos escolares.
La mayoría de los músicos de ese entonces (de casi todos los niveles sociales) dependíamos mucho de esos bailes… eran casi nuestro único sustento de vida,…y que al privarnos de eso poquito a poco íbamos desapareciendo ….y esta orden de dejar de dar permisos que (venían de arriba) ocurrió básicamente a partir de enero de 1972 hasta 1980 sino me equivoco….muchos especulan muchas teorías diferentes pero esta para mi que lo vivi en carne propia es la mas veridica…un abrazo!…
