Can I Get to Heaven?
Technicolour Lyrics

Jump to: Line by Line Meaning ↴

Desert night, I watch the sky, the air is full of fireflies.
See the cross, the cresent moon, the star of david white and blue.
Satellites looking down I'm still stuck here on the ground
And I fear deep inside all these wounds are mutch too wide

Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down
Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down

I will pay for fathers sins, I might survive, but no one wins
I will hide my wife and son, so they won't know the things I've done.
'..As for me. My covenant is with tree and thee shall be father of many nations..'

Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down
Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down

I shall, not want.
I shall, not want.
I shall, not want.
I shall, not want.

Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down
Can I get to heaven
before they close the door
Can I get to heaven
Try to go up, but falling down

falling down..
but falling down..
falling down..
