A native of Akron, Ohio, Teddy grew up loving the outdoors. He fished, hiked, and played football through college at Kent State. It was during college when his passion turned to music the moment he heard George Strait’s “Troubadour”. That was it, the decision was made. He called his parents, packed his bags and hit the road. Teddy spent time in Vail playing music to support his snowboarding habit before making the final move to Nashville.
Teddy co-wrote his debut track “Lead Me On” with Ryan Beaver, Matt McGinn and Aaron Eshuis and it was produced by Shane McAnally, Matt McGinn, and Ben Fowler.
Stay Single

That's what I tell myself
Stay single
Don't need nobody else
You got a condo
It's downtown
Plenty pretty girls
Running all around
Got a clean truck
Damn it I don't got it all
Figured out
Then you come walkin' in, start talkin' then I'm fallin' and baby I'm on fire
You gon' take me and break me, yeah can't you see you're makin' me a liar
Oh-oh-oh oh oh oh oh
When you look at me that way
Ain't no way
I'm gonna stay single
That's what my buddies say
Stay single
Don't need no ball and chain
Keep the freedom
And the tee times
And the whiskeys
On weeknights
Don't kiss it all goodbye
Then right about that time
You come walkin' in, start talkin then I'm fallin and then baby I'm on fire
You're gonna take me and break me and can't you see you're makin me a liar
Oh-oh-oh oh oh oh oh
When you look at me that way
Ain't no way
I'm gonna stay single
Oh oh yeah-ah
Stay single
Mama said boy don't jump the gun
Stay single
Don't bring her home unless she's the one
Then you come walkin in, start talkin then to mom and then baby I'm on fire
You gonna take me and break me and can't you see you're makin me a liar
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
When you look at me that way
Ain't no way
I'm gonna stay single
When you look at me that way
Ain't no way
I'm gonna stay single
The song "Stay Single" by Teddy Robb is about trying to maintain a single life but finding it difficult when the right person comes along. The lyrics talk about how the singer has been telling himself to stay single and not get into any relationships because he is enjoying his current lifestyle, where he has a condo downtown, a clean truck, and is surrounded by pretty women. However, he finds himself falling for someone who catches his eye and makes him feel on fire. The chorus repeats the main idea that when she looks at him that way, there's no way he can stay single.
Even with his friends and family advising him to stay single, the singer can't help but be drawn to this person who makes him feel alive. He's torn between wanting to continue his current lifestyle and the possibility of a relationship with this person. The song ends with the singer stating that even if his mom doesn't approve of his choice, he can't help but be drawn to this person, and there's no way he can stay single.
Overall, the song "Stay Single" highlights the struggle of trying to maintain a single lifestyle when you meet someone who gives you strong feelings.
