Send a hit boy, somebody gon' be unresponsive
Them hittas do just what I tell 'em, Grizzley Simon (go get 'em)
Can't let nobody take the set, we like limon (protect)

The lyrics of Tee Grizzley's song "Timeless" reflect themes of loyalty, determination, and the pursuit of success. The song begins with the mention of Hit-Boy, a producer, as Tee Grizzley expresses their collaboration and the quality of their work being timeless. The line "Send a hit boy, somebody gon' be unresponsive" can be interpreted as a double entendre, suggesting that if someone messes with them, they will face consequences. Tee Grizzley asserts his authority by referencing his hittas (crew) who are loyal and follow his instructions, comparing himself to Grizzley Simon, a biblical character known for his strength. The next line, "Can't let nobody take the set, we like limon" emphasizes the need to protect their territory. Tee Grizzley then mentions his financial success, indicating that he invests money and expects a quick return. The reference to JB, who has passed away, highlights Tee Grizzley's appreciation for her and the belief that she is watching over him.
The second verse of the song starts with Tee Grizzley mentioning traveling to Detroit for a legal matter, demonstrating his commitment to facing any consequences that come with his actions. He vows to stand by his beliefs, even if it means risking his life. Tee Grizzley dismisses the idea of inviting a woman to visit him, implying that he values self-sufficiency. He also mentions overcoming a drug addiction, stating that it hindered his creativity. He interjects his authenticity by claiming that real individuals don't need to prove themselves. The line "From niggas houses to penthouses, it's how I feel, nigga" contrasts Tee Grizzley's humble beginnings with his current success. He asserts that he has both compassion for others' problems and his own to deal with simultaneously.
The chorus repeats the earlier lines that highlight Tee Grizzley's partnership with Hit-Boy and their commitment to creating timeless music. Tee Grizzley's authority is reinforced, and he mentions investing in his team and expecting a return. The song ends with a repetition of the chorus and a reminder of Tee Grizzley's success and determination to overcome any obstacles that come his way.
