Breach Of Endearment
Tepetricy Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Whatever!
Velvet Rows turn to dust.
These curtains burn [and] all will rust because of these
Eyes sewn shut. Reawaken to justify my contempt.

Which way do we go from here?
I've gone too far.
Whatever!
Turn off the light and smile.
We know it's been a while.
Purposes understood
Underneath greater good.
New worlds will now take over
Shackled within this order.
Hope you enjoy yourself
In this disgusting place:
Women and children crying
Men off to war and dying.
When will we understand
Blood that is on our hand?

Reborn to a lie. I hope I like it this time. I won't cry.

Gaskets filling mind's thoughts, pressures on,
Can't give up. Can't stop now. What is worth and what is wrong.

Will I fight or will I feign? The refutation of all my fears are coming soon.
Lament for the failed rejoice, for the spoiled to come into this vision of my inspiration

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in "Breach of Endearment" by Tepetricy are quite cryptic, and their meaning may not be immediately clear. The opening lines, "Velvet Rows turn to dust. These curtains burn [and] all will rust because of these Eyes sewn shut," seem to describe a scene of decay and destruction. The next line, "Reawaken to justify my contempt," suggests that the singer has a negative attitude towards whatever is happening around them. They feel a need to justify their disdain, but it's not clear what specifically they are referring to.

The next verse begins with the line, "Which way do we go from here? I've gone too far." This could be interpreted as a lament for past decisions or actions that have led to the current state of affairs. The singer seems resigned to their fate, saying "Whatever!" and acknowledging that they can't change things now. In the following lines, they describe a dark, dystopian world where there is suffering and death. There is a sense of futility, as the singer asks when we will ever understand the consequences of our actions.

The final lines, "Gaskets filling mind's thoughts, pressures on, Can't give up. Can't stop now. What is worth and what is wrong," suggest that the singer is struggling to find meaning or purpose in this bleak world. They wonder whether it is worth fighting or whether they should give in to their fears. Overall, "Breach of Endearment" seems to be a commentary on the human condition, and the consequences of our actions on the world around us.

Bones of Onyx

uk person here, the age of consent in the uk is 16 so him getting a 17 year old pregnant is not illegal, however socially it is seen as very weird and creepy, people will absolutely judge you for that

Holly Zena

Yet in the UK you are still considered a "minor" at the age of 16 so it makes no sense 😐
Legally you are not an adult in the UK until you are 18 but can have sexual relations with adults at 16 🤦 so confusing!
Things like sharing nudes with anyone under 18 is also illegal, and sexting, but you can have sex with them... Bizarre and messed up isn't it?!! 🤷

Road Kill

yeah its weird law, Although almost everyone agrees its still nonce behaviour

Holly Zena

@Road Kill oh yes, I 10000% agree - completely disgusting and inappropriate behaviour, makes me feel sick
