The Alpine Lyrics

We have lyrics for these tracks by The Alpine:

All For One Imagine me falling Or am I new? I am now roaring Maybe …
Bitch All Night I’ve been up all night just thinking bout you Trapped all…
Gasoline There's gasoline in your heart There's fire in mine I know I…
Hands It's not hard to understand That the ringing in my ears Is…
Lovers 1 High All lovers go Take my lies and tear them apart H…
Lovers 2 ake My Lies And Tear them in parts Take My Lies And …
Multiplication Here I am, it is I'm eloquent Lone and throned by none Other…
Seeing Red Do you think I need more love? Do you think I…
Softsides Gotta step away from my heart Fragments of myself I forgot …

Too Safe Want to sail Way away Across this big water Feeling sick …
Villages Who'd take my hand Who'd take my hand I wanna show you So…

Great to see the end of this one! It’s funny because I was just thinking about this one last week. Haha, yep, the waders are one of the best purchases I ever made! Lots of suffering before I got them though... I even went barefoot through a mine once because I didn’t want to ruin my nice boots. You’re right about the difference between the California and Nevada records too. You can wallow in the flood of information on Nevada’s mines compared to what California has (which is all too often nothing at all).

@DesertDogExploring

In this one I used calf-high rubber boots which proved sufficient. I should throw the chest waders in the truck, but I never seem to get around to doing so.

I think the problem with CA vs NV is one of digitization. NV records are easy to work with. CA has a 'system', but it doesn't work very well.

At least now I'll have time to re-watch your Diamond Mine series. Someday I'll have to ask you what mojo you use to get all those views in such a short period of time!

@TVRExploring

Yeah, you're right about California's "system" being less than optimal. No secret mojo on the views... I've noticed that YouTube's algorithm has certain subscriber number thresholds that once you pass them, they'll start pushing your videos to a larger audience. So, it becomes this positive feedback loop. I crawled up to 1,000 subscribers and then once I passed one thousand, things started to move a little faster. A little after I passed two thousand, things really started moving.

@DesertDogExploring

Interesting. Well I'm slowly creeping to 1000, which is good. All in due time, I suppose.

California's information is best accessed physically, it seems. UCB, Stanford, or one of the other university libraries seems to work best. I miss the enginerding library at UC Davis. They had all this stuff, and more, in dusty old stacks. Not sure how many days I spent down there as a student, avoiding every obligation, and just doing research.

@TVRExploring

It wasn't EXACTLY at one thousand, but it was close. I'll bet you notice a tick up around there. Ha, you're a UC Davis grad? I got my bachelor's degree there!

@DesertDogExploring

Yes, I figure that somewhere around the 1k mark the algorithm does something 'different', with a variance that accounts for other variables - content, genre, minutes watched, things like that. I just have to keep plugging away!

And yes, I did my undergrad at UC Davis. Got out of there in '98, but I took time off in the middle (started in '91). Don't miss much about the place, but I do regret not having access to the libraries (and not being as close to the mountains or some of my favorite fishing spots)!

Nice little mine there guys, good bit of exploring! Could that mystery rock be galena?

@DesertDogExploring

After a lot of staring at still frames of the rock and digging (ha!) around numerous reference books and online images, I think it is quartzite with tungsten as the primary impurity. Seems a reasonable conclusion given the miners followed tungsten deposits.

@CornishMineExplorer

Nice one, I guess that makes sense! I have some tungsten/wolfram here, really heavy material thats for sure!
Like picking up a lump of metal rather than rock.

@johnlawrence9957

Nice video! Interesting blue rock. Did you get any samples of the blue stone and figure out what it is?
