Alters (pierwsza nazwa: Alter Ego, później występowali też jako MILD) to jazz, rock i awangarda w jednym, niepowtarzalnym opakowaniu. To fusion XXI wieku. To warszawska formacja, inspirowana tym wszystkim, co niebanalne w tradycji muzycznej minionego stulecia. Dopracowała się ona własnego, bardzo zaskakującego stylu. Potrafi zahipnotyzować, porwać żywiołowymi kaskadami ostrych dźwięków, by zaraz ukoić słuchacza cichym i lirycznym fortepianem. Podczas występów na żywo utwory zespołu nieustannie zmieniają się, brzmiąc inaczej każdego wieczora. Jego muzyka, aczkolwiek dopracowana i wycyzelowana w najdrobniejszych szczegółach, polega na nieustannej improwizacji. Koncerty zespołu Alters można nazwać niepowtarzalną projekcją dźwięku, jaka nigdy nie ma miejsca po raz wtóry. Alters koncertowali z powodzeniem w znanych warszawskich klubach "Progresja", "Le Madame", "Jazzgot", teatrach Stara Prochownia i Rampa, brali także udział w przeglądach muzycznych w Malborku, Poznaniu i Warszawie, za każdym razem intrygując publiczność swoimi awangardowymi pomysłami i skutecznie powiększając grono swoich sympatyków.Grupa Alters zawiązała się w 2001 r. przy okazji warsztatów muzycznych "Blues nad Bobrem" w Bolesławcu. Formacja stopniowo odchodziła od wykonywania muzyki stricte rockowej w kierunku, jakiemu pozostaje wierna do dziś. Obecny skład zespołu to czterej muzycy związani z warszawskimi uczelniami artystycznymi - Michał Sołtan (gitara, fortepian, śpiew), Łukasz Smoliński (gitara basowa), Paweł Zalewski (instrumenty klawiszowe, viola da gamba, śpiew) oraz Robert Pludra (perkusja). Skład dopełniają bracia Majsen i Tomek Ebert, odpowiedzialni za improwizowane wizualizacje na koncertach. Wśród osób, które współpracowały w przeszłości z zespołem był m.in. Michał Łapaj (instrumenty klawiszowe, obecnie Riverside). Grupa - poszukując inspiracji pośród tak nietypowych gatunków, jak "elektryczny" jazz Milesa Davisa, czy dźwiękowe eksperymenty Karlheinza Stockhausena - proponuje wymagającemu słuchaczowi niepowtarzalną podróż w świat jazzu i awangardy, podaną jednak w rockowej oprawie i z właściwą muzyce rockowej energią. Dotychczasowe płyty demo zarejestrowane przez zespół zyskały uznanie w mediach - m.in. w serwisie artrock.pl oraz Radiu Aktywnym. Ponadto utwór "Raczej nie głębina" trafił na składankę "Praska Fala Dźwięku". W listopadzie 2006 r. zespół zarejestrował w krakowskim studio Lynx Music swój debiutancki album. Płyta "MILD: Mnemonic Induction Of Lucid Dreams" osnuta jest wokół tematyki hipnotycznego snu i zawiera brzmienia, które są odzwierciedleniem muzycznych zainteresowań członków zespołu. Niczym swoje wizytówki każdy z muzyków zamieścił na płycie sygnowaną przez siebie muzyczną etiudę. Każda z nich brzmi inaczej, ale po dłuższym zastanowieniu dochodzi się do wniosku jak bardzo zbliżone są one do siebie swoim klimatem. Świadczy to o prawdziwym stylistycznym pokrewieństwie wszystkich muzyków tworzących grupę Alters. Ich muzyka wymaga od słuchacza sporej cierpliwości, wgryzienia się w strukturę poszczególnych utworów i otwartości na bardzo zaskakujące dźwięki. Od razu zaznaczę, że propozycje grupy Alters nie przemówią do każdego. Przynajmniej nie od razu. Na płycie "MILD" nie znajdziecie piosenek, które mogą być muzycznym tłem na niedzielnym podwieczorku u cioci. Jeżeli już nastawi się tą płytę, trzeba być przygotowanym na niecodzienne, a przynajmniej nieczęsto słyszane dźwięki i ich niespodziewane sekwencje. Spodziewajcie się niespodziewanego. Nie sposób przewidzieć w jakim kierunku rozwinie się dana kompozycja. Muzyka Alters to improwizacja i awangarda. Nazwałbym ją nowoczesną odmianą jazz rocka. W przeważającej mierze zespół gra utwory instrumentalne, choć można też znaleźć na tym albumie pięć numerów śpiewanych przez zespół w stylu przypominającym wokale na wczesnych płytach grupy Pink Floyd. A więc psychodelia, muzyczny "odjazd" i mentalny "odlot" w inne, zupełnie nieziemskie światy. Takie właśnie uczucia towarzyszą przy słuchaniu muzyki grupy Alters. Najlepszym tego przykładem jest 12-minutowa kompozycja tytułowa, w której zespół, niczym w przysłowiowej pigułce, pomieścił wszystkie cechy swego oryginalnego stylu.
Zanim przystąpicie do słuchania muzyki grupy Alters zadbajcie o odpowiedni nastrój. I to niekoniecznie o półmrok, czy szklaneczkę ulubionego napoju pod ręką. Zadbajcie o spokój wewnętrzny, o harmonię emocji, o otwartość umysłu. Przygotujcie się na niczym nieograniczony lot. Wtedy dźwięki muzyki Alters najlepiej przemówią do Waszej wyobraźni.

You are all incredibly brave!! I can't fathom how much work that has been put in to understand each alter and their role to the system. I hope I'm not saying anything incorrectly or coming off as rude in anyway, I have ptsd and understand how damaging trauma can be, but I definitely don't know much about DID. I am very eager to watch more of the videos on this channel to learn. I think it's fantastic that Chloe started this channel and the alters (in this video at least) seem to be mostly supportive of, if not the channel, Chloe herself for the work she has done.

@Vibe Tribe I know that. This disorder is curable by the mighty hard of Almighty God. Nothing is impossible for Him. He is the creator of all things. He raises people out of death, he makes deaf people to hear, He makes blind eyes to see. He can heal any disorder. Today, there are many people with mental disorders because they moved out from under God's hand. He can even heal that. World systems can not do that they put people in bandage.

@Christa Mare DID has nothing to do with religion, it's a condition/disorder that forms in childhood between the ages of 7-9 but ONLY if the abuse or trauma is repeated. To be fair I have a question for this so called " God " so where was " God " when I was going through my trauma? He certainly wasn't around when I needed him? now I don't want to get into an argument in the comments so I'm not going to say anymore but I'm pretty sure I said enough to start one and I want to apologize to DissociaDID because I did not intend to start one by any means. @christa marie You are not obligated to answer my questions, leave it to " God " to answer them.

Yeah, I don't have DID but I remember after being s*xually abused as a child, my male classmates giggled and commented to themselves that I was over the top flirty but I had NO idea WHY I acted like that, I couldn't (still cant) even remember what was done to me (I know now my brain protected myself from dealing). Nina's development is completely understandable and that she is this strong for the system is just beautiful <3

@Nik I think you're making assumptions about a lot here... and this can be really harmful. Anyone can cope any way they know how or feel is best. Hypersexuality can be caused by sexual trauma, or by nothing at all. I think it's harmful to make the assumption that Nina is 1. An "open and easy" woman because she expresses herself in a flirtatious way and 2. Not as fit for her role because of this. Alters form for specific or vague reasons, and often times their personality is affected by their role. But it doesn't mean they are going to fit a stereotype of what WE think they should be. It's like saying since a protector can't fight, their role as a protectoe doesn't make sense
