3) The Androids was a 1980s German band.
1) A rock band from Australia, fronted by guitarist Tim Henwood (originally from The Superjesus) with Matt Tomlinson, Sam Grayson, and Marty Grech. Remembered mostly for their song 'Do It With Madonna', released in 2002, the band experienced moderate success with their self-titled debut album in Australia and the UK. Their second single, 'Here She Comes', released in 2003, also gained attention in the US after featuring on the soundtrack for the third film in the popular 'American Pie' franchise, 'American Wedding.'
After their third single, 'Brand New Life', failed to match the success of the first two, The Androids went on hiatus while Henwood joined the electro-pop band Rogue Traders as lead guitarist. Henwood toured extensively with the band and also helped write material for their third album, 'Better In The Dark'.
In 2006, Henwood revealed he had been writing new songs for The Androids, and in 2007, announced he would be leaving the Rogue Traders to focus on their comeback. In May, the band released 'Whole Lotta Love' as the first single off their sophomore album, which was a moderate success. The band revealed the album would be titled 'Outta Ya Mind' and in April they toured nationally with P!nk during the Australian leg of her 'I'm Not Dead' tour.
A second single, rumored to be '2 Cool For School', was slated for release but was ultimately shelved and the album also delayed, although there was no official word from the band as to why. Eventually the album became available to purchase digitally and a physical release followed a few months later.
The band is now assumed to have split up, with no activity from them since late 2007.
2) A Belfast punk rock band who recorded “Bondage In Belfast” for Terry Hooley’s Good Vibrations label.

Gone
The Androids Lyrics

Sitting down your jaw is on the floor
Hey understand it where you know she's coming from
The only words are that she wants you gone
Gone
Gone
Being with it really gets you high
Hey underwritten by your fear of being alone
You tried oh what you never feeling good
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
She wants you gone
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
Don't ever meddle with the girl at home
You never really wanna try and picture
You wouldn't choose I had your mind ripped out
Hey independence didn't mean attention
With all that bullshit coming from your mouth
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
She wants you gone
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
Don't ever meddle with the girl at home
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
She wants you gone
Oohoohoohoohoohoohooh
I'm standing where you know shes coming from
All the words and know she wants you gone
The Androids' song "Gone" is a song that tells a story about a girl who wants a guy gone, and the guy is struggling to come to terms with it. The lyrics talk about the interaction between the girl and the guy, where she wants to talk, but he is shocked to the point that his jaw drops. The only thing that comes out of her mouth is that she wants him gone.
The lyrics of the song "Gone" by The Androids also talk about how the guy feels about the situation. He doesn't want to sit on the side and watch everything go by. The guy feels good when he is with her, but he is afraid of being alone, and this fear may be why he is struggling to accept that she wants him gone. The guy is trying to picture a different scenario where the girl would want him, but he realizes that independence doesn't mean anything when it comes to attention. Finally, in the end, the guy understands where the girl is coming from, and she wants him gone.
Overall, The Androids' "Gone" song is all about a relationship that isn't working out, and the girl wants the guy to leave. As much as the guy wishes things could be different, he knows that he needs to accept the reality of the situation.
