Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me for me
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me for me
(Yeah)
I don't see you
Thinking that you don't care
You wouldn't be you
(Yeah)
Without me you were getting no racks
Sitting in your Air Force shoes
And your coach bags
Hop up in a Benz
That's all me
And I heard that you
Were dissing on me
I ain't gonna stop music
So don't ask me
Tell me leave if I'm gonna stay out
Yeah gladly
Leavin for a mil
I'm gone sky's sunny
You just need to chill
You're drawn to money
(Yeah)
Trying to rip my will
Right from me
Sitting in the hills
That's life for me
I don't want to get
Into all of the drama
(Yeah)
So I'ma live my life
With Benzes and Honda's
Gonna blow up one day
Album like Donda
Gonna move out
Buy a Rover from my momma
I don't think you lose when you fight
For what you dream
Now we in a Limo
With a group pourin lean
I don't want the fame this is fun
Know what I mean?
I don't care about being famous
If I'm mean
And I know it may sound weird
But I don't want the fame
Doing this for money during college
Needing paid
(Yeah Yeah)
Sure I may be gifted
But it's not what people say
Parents help me out
But I never expect them to pay
I wanna blow up spread a word
Maybe two
But I don't wanna do it
If I do it without you
I ain't saying names
But everybody knows who
You think you aren't special
But you are that's why I chose you
I don't wanna fight
So we really never do
Looking in the mirror
And you wanna be a better you
I don't know why
I don't see it
What's the pressure to
I don't really wanna change
So I put no effort to
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me for me
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me for me
(Yeah)
Tell me you're still (Tell me tell me)
There for me (Tell me tell me)
Tell me you're still there for me
Tell me you're still there for me
(Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah)
For me
I just really wanna know
I just really wanna know
Yeah I really wanna know
Yeah I really wanna know
I just really wanna know
The lyrics of The Biscuits's song "Still There" depict a yearning for reassurance and validation from someone who may be drifting away. The repetition of the lines "Tell me you're still there for me" reflects a deep desire for connection and affirmation. The singer is seeking acknowledgment and affirmation from the other person, wanting them to assure that they are still present and supportive in their life.
The lyrics also touch upon the singer's observation that the other person seems distant and uncaring. The line "Thinking that you don't care, you wouldn't be you" suggests that the singer believes the person's lack of attention is not in alignment with their inherent character. The mention of material possessions like Air Force shoes and coach bags portrays a contrasting image between the singer's progress and the other person's stagnant state.
The lyrics then speak about the singer's own achievements and aspirations in life. They mention getting into a Benz, staying committed to music, and not succumbing to drama. The line about leaving for a million indicates their ambition to attain success, while the mention of sitting in the hills symbolizes a luxurious lifestyle. However, the singer also emphasizes that they don't want to lose themselves in pursuit of fame, declaring that they don't care about being famous if it means being mean.
The lyrics continue with a reflection on relationships and personal growth. The singer expresses a desire to spread their message and make a difference, but not without the presence and support of the other person. They suggest that the other person is indeed special and valued, thus the singer's choice to involve them. The lyrics also touch on the internal struggle of wanting to be a better version of oneself without succumbing to external pressures or changing significantly.
In conclusion, "Still There" by The Biscuits explores the vulnerability of seeking reassurance, the disparity between success and stagnation, and the importance of genuine connections and personal growth. The lyrics convey a longing for validation, the pursuit of dreams, and the desire to remain true to oneself amidst external influences.

EASIEST EVER BISCUITS RECIPE
Yield: 10 biscuits
Ingredients -
• 3 cups all purpose flour
• 4 tsp sugar (primarily for browning)
• 1 TBSP of baking powder (leavener)
• 1/4 tsp baking soda (for flavor and browning)
• 1-1/4 tsp salt
• 2 cups heavy whipping cream (He never said the exact amount in the initial instructions. However, they showed about 495ml on camera, which makes it roughly 2.1 cups of cream. Later in her demonstration she says 2 cups.)
Directions -
1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
2. Whisk dry ingredients until combined.
3. Heat cream in microwave to about 95°F to 100°F, which will take 60-90 seconds. This will melt the butter fat in the cream. Use thermometer to measure temp.
4. Pour warm cream into dry mixture and fold in/mix in until perfectly smooth.
5. Using a 1/3 cup measuring cup, spray with a cooking spray oil, scoop out a 1/3-cup measure of dough and drop straight onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. It should look like a biscuit. Spray cup in between scoops.
6. Place in a 450°F oven, upper-middle rack for 10-12 minutes. Rotate sheet about half way through.
7. Brush tops with 2 TBSP unsalted, melted butter.
8. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
Note: I saw as I was posting this that someone already wrote the instructions. However, I didn't want my effort to go completely to waste so I posted anyway.

@jencendiary If you had bothered to read my comments instead of skim thru you would have seen that I have made these. I didn't care for the taste though. Neither did my wife. I've made biscuits with heavy whipping cream, vitamin D milk, lowfat buttermilk and whole buttermilk. I've also used all-purpose flour and several brands of self-rising flour. I have the best results from sifted white lily flour, whole buttermilk and low salt butter. I never use parchment paper either. (It can make the bottoms too crispy. I use an Iron Skillet lightly greased with Crisco and 475 preheat for 15-20 minutes. Their perfect every time. The ladies from Church and grandkids love them as well as my own kids. NOW...have you ever made any?
