HoneyBunch
You have your very own number
They dress your cage in its nature
Once you roared now you just grunt lame
Pace around pathetic pound games
Want to get out won't miss you sensaround
To carry your own dead to swing your tire tricks
Want to get out in here you're bred dead quick
For the outside
The small black flowers that grow in the sky
They drag sticks along your walls
Harvest your ovaries dead mothers crawl
Here comes warden, Christ, temple, elders
Environment not yours you see through it all
Want to get out won't miss you sensaround
Carry your own dead to swing your tire tricks
Want to get out in here you're bred dead quick
For the outside
The small black flowers that grow in the sky
Here chewing your tail is joy

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. And I basically spend my life listening to music.

I first listened to this a week after coming out of a long relationship and i was walking on the country roads playing this just as it was going into autumn dreading the winter but knowing I’ll get through it now it’s beautiful

Gorgeous song that I come back to again and again.

I know the song is about horrific zoos and the appalling treatment of animals - but to me, this song just conjures up so many memories of being a 14 year old laying in the sun in a field, smoking and talking bollocks with my friends until the midnight hours. Oh to go back to the 90s............

Aah that song has soooo many happy memories of a brilliant time in my life.
Richey Edwards, wherever you are, you achieved so much and my life has been better because your music was a part of it :((

IceCat7 I know it is, clearly from the lyrics. But when that album was released, me and two of my mates bought a house and lived like 20-somethings do, for three years, and this album is the soundtrack to those three years.
It’s an incredibly sad song, I agree 100%.
