Come on baby let's take this from the top
I know, I know
We can make, just don't tell me to stop
You're my hero
You never used to say let's give it up
I won't let go
We're falling down, whoa, oh, oh
This isn't the first time, you won't be the last
Tonight I'm coming for you girl
This isn't the first time, you won't be the last
This city has almost got you burned
This town will be your final grave
This town will never let you leave
This is the annihilation
This is the celebration
This isn't the first time, you won't be the last
Tonight I'm coming for you girl
This isn't the first time, you won't be the last
This city has almost got you burned
This isn't the first time
The Blackout's song "Prepare For A Wound" is a high-energy, fast-paced track that combines elements of rock, punk, and pop to create a provocative and intense musical experience. The lyrics focus on the theme of danger and unpredictability, using vivid imagery and metaphorical language to paint a picture of a city that is both alluring and deadly. The opening lines, "Let's go, let's go, come on baby let's take this from the top," sets the tone for the rest of the song, signaling to the listener that they are about to embark on a wild and exhilarating ride.
As the song progresses, the lyrics become increasingly intense and urgent, with lines like "This town will be your final grave" and "This city has almost got you burned" creating a sense of impending doom and danger. The chorus, which declares "This isn't the first time, you won't be the last," reinforces the idea that the danger is ongoing and that the singer will continue to face peril and uncertainty in this city.
Overall, "Prepare For A Wound" is a powerful and evocative song that captures the excitement and danger of living on the edge. The lyrics are full of energy and passion, and the music itself is equally intense, making this a standout track from The Blackout's impressive discography.
