The Bomb Squad is a rap production team whose original members were Chuck D, Hank Shocklee, Keith Shocklee & Eric "Vietnam" Sadler. In 1994, Easy Mo Bee, Gary G-Wiz, Sleek and Panic joined The Bomb Squad. Their music generally consists of very dense layers of hip hop party jams, sampled speech and rock guitars plus other 'found' sounds.
Though they are most famous for their work with Public Enemy, they have produced for other artists including, among others, rapper Ice Cube and Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers. They also produced a few tracks for New Jack/Hip-Hop group Bell Biv Devoe (A New Edition Spin-off group).

I remember when I was in high school I saw these guys everywhere. They were fantastic. I really hope they are all doing well. I remember amazing electric trumpet solos, kids going nuts, and general merriment. I played in garage bands around the Fairfield area and I'm pretty sure we opened for them at the Westport Teen Center one time.
