I appreciate the constructive criticism - to explain my dilemma, I have a bunch of shows that I am trying to just keep under the brand of my last name "Frumess." So they are all Frumess shows. The Hungry Pizza End is just the name graphic on the software I use. That was a joke because Peter played in Samhain which has a song called "The Hungry End." The show is called Pizza Punk. The Misfits show is "Streaming Evilive" - But on the podcasts its all Frumess and each episode is labeled respectively. Sorry for the confusion, just makes sense in my head haha.

@Frumess awesome ! Found it and following on spotify now. I drive a lot for work so the audio only is going to be clutch. Wanted to say absolutely love love the channel man. Been Misfits and Danzig fan for 30+ years now. My only constructive criticism would be to streamline the names somehow. I was looking up they came from lodi. The hungry pizza end and now got that its Frumess (last name?) I think a Danzig related name would be super helpful and appropriate but you are blowing up regardless so I'll shut it lol

This ruled. Have you ever covered the breakup of the original Danzig lineup? That be a great one. I always wondered why Danzig for instance could fall out with London may like 3 times and he was always invited back to samhain reunions. But he would never invite eerie which implies it was a really bad falling out

Danzig line ups would be an interesting one. I think there are a few factors regarding the Eerie and London differences. But ultimately have to speculate, don't actually know.

Sometimes I forget how big of an impact Doyle had on the band’s public perception. A lot of casual listeners are still surprised that people other than Doyle played with them. I asked a friend to come along to a Jerry’s Misfits show, and I remember him being excited to see Doyle pounding on his guitar (I had to break the bad news).

It’s fascinating how just about every time a large page posts a picture of the Horror Business lineup, there’s always someone in the comments talking about how different Doyle looks...

That's a great observation. He had a huge impact. As for people's confusion, I'm surprised to hear that! Maybe I just don't know enough casual Misfits fans. I feel like if you know this band by even a modicum, you have a working knowledge of the line up changes. But I could be wrong 🤷‍♂️

Instead of the '95 version of the Misfits, I think they should have just used a different group name. Also, i wish Glenn would write new Misfits material.

The same argument could be made about Black Flag. While it's true the original band lasted 10 years, they went through so many lineups, a lot more than the Misfits. Given the direction Black Flag was heading in by the mid '80s and the emerging fanbase they were gaining from places like Seattle and the north west, I think if they didn't have the legal problems they had following the release of Damaged and the constant lineup changes, they could have kicked off the Grunge movement five years before anybody knew what Grunge was. I think they could have transitioned from an 80s punk band to a 90s alternative rock band and they would have been leading the way.

I was going to refute the premise, but then the guy seemed to figure it out as the video went on. Wasn't going to be any line up changes after Doyle except drummers, and who gives a shit about drummers. I mean maybe Jerry gets replaced with Erie Vonn, and that drives Doyle away, but that's pretty much what actually happened in reality, only they called it Samhain.

All true, but the Bobby story sounded to me like when he first joined, he and Glenn were good buddies, he picked up where Franche left off and helped them have a good run for a while but when 12 Hits was being recorded, I think Jerry just wanted to get his brother in the band and Bobby knew it, there were dicky attitudes going around, he was also working on his own original band on the side, and some talk of drugs as well. The only real tragic mistake was not released 12 Hits. Instead, Glenn stupidly chopped it up and sold certain songs to the club members.
