The self-titled debut album "The Child of Lov" was released on May 6, 2013 through Domino Recording co and it features guest appearances from DOOM and Damon Albarn.
On December 13th 2013, it was announced that Martijn Teerlinck had died due to complications following a surgery, three days earlier.

Every now and then I google Martijn Teerlinck aka Cole Williams aka child of lov. We were classmates untill we were 10 or 11. He was part of our 4 man 'gang' in primary school. Martijn, Bas, Ahmed and me. When we played soccer during the breaks Martijn would very often pretend to be a football commentator, describing the game while we were playing. That was awesome, he made me feel like a pro footballer. He was a cool kid and didn't seem to worry at all about what others thought of him. Listening to him reminds me to try and do what is meaningfull in life because it can end sooner then you think. Martijn, while I have known you for only a short time, I know I would have loved to speak to you again. Rest in peace dude, I have always found you strange and special at the same time. But I love strange and special people, they are the best ones.
