At the time, it was somewhat smaller than today and it was called the Filmový symfonický orchestr (FISYO) (The Film Symphony Orchestra) or was sometimes known as the Film Symphony of Prague. Many wonderful international films were done by this orchestra in the early days. Recordings have been made for film production companies such as Paramount, Sony, Lucasfilm and many others in the Smecky Music Studios. David Lynch returned again in 1997 to record his Lost Highway, and yet again in 2001 to record Mulholland Drive.
Fully privatized after the Velvet Revolution, today, the musicians and supporting professionals continue to play and record music together (usually every day of the week) for major international films, television series, CDs/DVDs, video games, and even ring tones - both for the Czech Republic market and for clients & media productions around the world.

The lyrics of "Now We Are Free" by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra are in a fictional language, which makes it difficult to provide a direct and precise interpretation of the lyrics. However, I can offer a broad analysis based on the emotions and musical context of the song.
The repeated phrase "Anol shadom" and "Anol sheh lay konnud de ne um" seem to evoke a sense of mystery and otherworldliness. These phrases create a mystical atmosphere that sets the tone for the rest of the song. The use of foreign-sounding and unfamiliar words enhances the feeling of being transported to a different realm or world.
The lines "Flavum nom de leesh, Ham de nam um das, La um de Flavne" further contribute to the mystical ambiance. These phrases may symbolize a journey or transformation where the self is submerged into a mystical state, represented by "Flavum." The repetition and combination of these words build upon the mystical and enchanting theme of the song.
As the song progresses, the repetition of phrases like "We de ze zu bu" and "Un va-a pesh a lay" creates a sense of unity and collective experience. This could suggest a coming together of beings or a shared connection, emphasizing the power of unity and shared energy.
The concluding lines, "Alas sharum du koos, Shaley koot-tum," add a sense of intensity and urgency to the song. These phrases create an atmosphere of struggle and determination, as if there is a battle or challenge to overcome.
Overall, the lyrics of "Now We Are Free" speak to a mystical and transcendent experience, evoking emotions of mystery, unity, and perseverance. They contribute to the larger musical composition and help create a captivating and atmospheric listening experience.
