1) The Color: An obscure 1960s garage band found on the CD Back From The Grave Vol.10.
2) The Color: After nearly six years as a solo artist, singer-songwriter Jordan Janzen has reunited with old band-mates and continues to push deeper into the music scene. The new outfit, The Color, has spent the last year in the studio and is set to release their debut self-titled album in March of 2012.
Janzen's music career was originally sparked following a local talent search during his senior year of high school. With a newly formed band, Edge of Iris and the opportunity to tour with Juno Award winning artist Amanda Falk, it seemed the music world was beckoning. But the end of their first Canadian tour also saw the disbanding of Iris.
Janzen continued to pursue a career in music, this time as a solo artist. Part of this journey took him to Toronto for the 'Hollywood' rounds of the sixth season of Canadian Idol in 2008, with his stint ending just short of the 'Top 20'. Encouraged by fellow contestants and Idol staff, and challenged by the level of talent he encountered, Janzen took home a renewed determination to forge ahead in his music career.
After recording and co-producing his debut album, Crazy, with his dad in their home studio later that fall, Janzen went on to nab two Covenant award nominations while his single, "Cinderella" garnered international airplay, helping cement and spread his pop-rock sound across the globe. The high praise also gave Janzen the chance to share the stage with big name acts like Marianna's Trench, Thousand Foot Krutch and Jodi King.
Then, in 2009, a shift in vocation reunited Janzen and former Edge of Iris bandmate James Shiels. After reconnecting over coffee and old memories, the two began writing what would unknowingly become The Color's debut album.
Jordan Janzen Band alumni, Gabe Boschmann, Jordan Banman, Ken Janzen and Tyler Martens also added their musical input to the writing process. With a mosaic of musical backgrounds and a broadened perspective in their full band writing approach, a new sound started to take shape.
With intentions of recording an album but a desire to achieve a more professional sound, it wasn't until Canadian producer and drummer Jay Tooke began pursuing The Color that things were set in motion. Tooke discovered the band while sitting back stage at a Winkler show, and was left stunned by the potential in the young opener's voice as well as the melodic songwriting and catchy riffs.
The Color officially entered the studio in early 2011 to begin recording their debut album, one that producer Tooke calls, "One of the best new rock records to come out in the last ten years." The album reached new heights when Grammy Award winning producer and sound engineer, Howard Willing, offered to mix the album in L.A.. Willing's work on the album led to the opportunity of having it mastered by Rob Vosgien at Capitol Records. The result of Willing and Vosgien's expertise far exceeded anyone's expectations and it was fair to say that the "more professional sound" had been accomplished.
In an industry steeped in easy answers and feel-good refrains, The Color now represents four musicians who've found their voice. Ready to make a mark across the soundscape of pop/rock music, The Color is bringing songs of hope, energy and greater purpose as they seek to bring a little color to the airwaves.
3) South Korean trio formed in the 2000s, presumably disbanded sometime after their debut full album

From beggars to princes
Think I heard You say
"You don't have to stay where you are"
From heartbreak to healing
From slavery to freedom
When I think of You
I see flickers in the dark
You made it so my history
Does not define my destiny
You long to take the fear I hold
And drown it out in perfect love
My past is past
My chains are broke
Sin and shame is overcome
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
How can I remain the same?
The Cross is where my life was changed
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
My victory
My victory
You alone
Are my victory
Let my heart be Your heart
Let my will be Your's God
Let my life become a fire that can't be tamed
You know all my history
But You say it's not my destiny
So take away the fear I hold
And drown it out in perfect love
My past is past
My chains are broke
Sin and shame is overcome
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
How can I remain the same?
The Cross is where my life was changed
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
God, I wanna make what You've done for me
Bigger than what everyone has done to me
You have power over everything, over everything
No, I'm no victim
No, I'm no victim
My past is past
My chains are broke
Sin and shame is overcome
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
How can I remain the same?
The Cross is where my life was changed
You alone are my victory
You alone are my victory
My victory
My victory
You alone
Are my victory
The lyrics to The Color's song Victory are a powerful declaration of redemption and deliverance. The song speaks to the transformative power of faith in God and the freedom that comes from surrendering to His will. The opening lines of the song state, "From victims to victors, From beggars to princes, Think I heard You say, 'You don't have to stay where you are.'" These lines set the tone for the song and establish the message of hope and possibility that runs throughout.
The chorus declares, "My past is past, My chains are broke, Sin and shame is overcome. You alone are my victory, You alone are my victory." This statement is a direct affirmation of the freedom that comes from a life surrendered to God. The song acknowledges the brokenness and pain of our past, but also affirms the power of God's love to break those chains and overcome those obstacles.
The lyrics go on to say, "Let my heart be Your heart, Let my will be Your's God, Let my life become a fire that can't be tamed." This is a plea for God to take control of our lives and use us for His will. The song encourages listeners to let go of fear and trust that God will use our lives for something greater than ourselves.
Overall, Victory is a powerful song of hope and redemption, encouraging listeners to trust in God's provision and surrender to His will.
