2) The Corner Room is a Belarusian punk band who released music from 2010 to 2011. Original description as follows:
Hi!
We are glad to present The Corner Room! This is embodiment of last ideas.Having decided not to keep for the past, we have destroyed old constructions of endeavours, self-restrictions and the errors which have enriched us with experience, and have remained only strong basis of desire to create eloquent music.
It’s the new band. The music is not only means for us, it becomes the purpose. The minimum strength, we think, should give to truthfulness to an event and to provide with air a musical texture.
It is a starting point here. In the future we will change, grow and experiment, and who knows what will come out. While there is that we named The Corner Room, welcome to a birth.
Psalm 30
The Corner Room Lyrics

and have not let my foes rejoice over me.
2 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help,
and you have healed me.
3 O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol;
you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.
4 Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints,
and give thanks to his holy name.
5 For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.
6 As for me, I said in my prosperity,
"I shall never be moved."
7 By your favor, O Lord,
you made my mountain stand strong;
you hid your face;
I was dismayed.
8 To you, O Lord, I cry,
and to the Lord I plead for mercy:
9 "What profit is there in my death,
if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
Will it tell of your faithfulness?
10 Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me!
O Lord, be my helper!"
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
12 that my glory may sing your praise (and not be silent.)
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
12 that my glory may sing your praise (and not be silent.)
O Lord my God, I will give thanks
(O Lord my God, I will give thanks)
to you forever!
In Psalm 30, The Corner Room beautifully sings about their gratitude for God’s redemption and deliverance. The song opens with the artist declaring their praise to God for pulling them out of despair and oppression. They continue to thank God for being their protector and healer, bringing them out of the terror of Sheol and restoring them to life. The chorus encourages all of God’s saints to sing praises and give thanks to His holy name, as His anger is temporary and His favor is eternal. The song continues with a reference to a time of abundance, where the artist declares they will never be moved, but then acknowledges a period of distress where God hid His face. However, they cry out for mercy, asking for God to spare their life and allow them to sing His praises. The song ends on a note of gratitude, with the artist stating they will forever give thanks to God.
Overall, Psalm 30 is a beautiful depiction of the journey of faith that is marked by struggle, redemption, and finally gratitude. The artist does not shy away from acknowledging the hard times they’ve faced, including the moments they believed they were unshakeable yet still found themselves in despair. However, their praise and gratitude for God’s unwavering presence and love in their life remain at the forefront. This song serves as a poignant reminder that no matter how difficult the journey may be, with God, we have reason to sing and dance in joy forever.
