Come out broken down and torn
More than the undead in the night
So many dead and gone
Left to rot by the side of the road
Right to the bottom of the line
Is where they all end up alone
Been run around knocked to the ground
And the end is coming quick
Well you didn't even get the chance to make a sound
So here you go again
On a path that never ends
Keep on traveling down the road to nowhere
You give they take
With all the choices that you make
Keep on pointing all the blame and it ain't fair
And it turns out hunnay
This ain't the road to nowhere
How does it all look now
Chopped up and broken down
Done proved through all the little things
And thought it wouldn't carry on
Could've put them outta sight
Forgot them as easy as time goes
Right to the bottom of the line
Is where they all end up alone
And see it all ends up like this
Been run around knocked to the ground
And the end is coming quick
Well you didn't even get the chance to make a sound
So here you go again
On a path that never ends
Keep on traveling down the road to nowhere
You give they take
With all the choices that you make
Keep on pointing all the blame and it ain't fair
And it turns out hunnay
This ain't the road to nowhere
Spent too much time
Put it all on the line
That kinda attitude will break ya
You're outta time
Made a million mistakes
Now it's time to pay
Keep on hiding from the path that has become your fate
So here you go again
On a path that never ends
Keep on traveling down the road to nowhere
You give they take
With all the choices that you make
Keep on pointing all the blame and it ain't fair
And it turns out hunnay
This ain't the road to nowhere
"Road to Nowhere" by The Creepshow is a song about the struggles of life and the feeling of being stuck in a never-ending cycle of disappointment and failure. The lyrics describe the experience of trying your best and putting everything on the line, only to end up broken and alone. The singer also points out that blaming others or circumstances for their situation is not fair, but they realize that they have been traveling down a path that leads nowhere.
The imagery used in the song emphasizes the sense of loss and hopelessness. The lines "More than the undead in the night/So many dead and gone/Left to rot by the side of the road" compares the struggles of life to the fear of zombies or monsters. The reference to being "run around knocked to the ground" and "chopped up and broken down" suggest a violent and traumatic experience. The repetition of the phrase "here you go again/On a path that never ends" reinforces the feeling of being trapped and unable to break free from their circumstances.
Overall, "Road to Nowhere" is a poignant reflection on the challenges of life and the struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world full of setbacks and disappointments.
