McGinty was the songwriter and trombonist for 905 ska band two-face and played trombone in Outspan as well. Matt "Pomade" Gee splits his time between The Creepshow and punk band Rehab for Quitters for which he also plays drums.

This all started with a hum across the network
And no one knows the reason or the cause
That they're clueless to what's going on
You can't touch that dial, it's no use you're too late
The plan is already in phase
A new epidemic is lying in wait
And delivered across the airwaves
THE CITY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
RUE MORGUE RADIO
Listeners are screaming for somewhere to hide
Now they know who's been behind it all
With no sign of wearing the poison they're airing
Sound systems blaring, there's no way to hide from the cause
You can't touch that dial, it's no use you're too late
The plan is already in phase
A new epidemic is lying in wait
And delivered across the airwaves
THE CITY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
RUE MORGUE RADIO
Past the point of no return
Souls are taken to the ground as it burns
Airwaves call out into the night
Live through these sounds
You can't see an ending in sight
THE CITY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
RUE MORGUE RADIO
The Creepshow's Rue Morgue Radio is a haunting song that paints a grim picture of a city in turmoil. The song opens with a mysterious hum, spreading across the network without any apparent reason or cause. The singer reveals that amidst the crackle of static, the people in charge remain clueless about what's going on. It seems like something sinister is afoot, and the listeners soon find themselves at the mercy of it. They cry out for help, but it's too late. They realize the people behind the poison, the ones responsible for delivering it across the airwaves, are the very same running the show, and there's no escape.
The chorus "The city will never be the same" is repeated throughout the song, emphasizing the irreparable damage that's been done. Listeners are screaming for somewhere to hide as their souls are taken to the ground, and the airwaves call out into the night. The singer's urgent plea is to live through these sounds, and as such, it's impossible to see an end in sight. The song creates an eerily sinister atmosphere with its storytelling, invoking a sense of dread that resonates with listeners.
