1. Solely comprised of one member in its infancy, The Drawing Room was crafted by Joel Bruyere of Thousand Foot Krutch as a creative outlet for happenings. Be it conjuring magic tricks, shooting photography, creating a recipe and let’s not forget patterning together shades of music. Some photography and a couple card tricks have leaked their way out but the music remained a secret until now. The goal is to expose various talents, along with some close friends and share them with anyone willing to lend an eye or loan an ear. Art for all.
2. The Drawing Room (with and without the definite article depending on releases) was a solo project of Christchurch New Zealand musician David Khan. It marked a significant departure from Khan's earlier work with the leonard Nimoy and Vaccine projects, with more of a focus on piano and voice. Drawing Room releases include In Purgatory (1999), Evolving Sequence No. 1 (2001), The Garden (2002), Music For Performance (2003), all on the kRkRkRk label.
