Who remembers how to Hucklebuck ? Probably people mainly over 85 years old. I bought this record (on a 78) in 1953. It was released in 1951. I'd seen "The Hucklebuck" performed on some short films (1940s music videos) of Lucky Millinders' and Louis Jordan's bands playing Hucklebuck tempo songs, with teenaged and early 20s adults doing that dance, but I never learned to do it. I remember Chubby Checker' Hucklebuck record, and seen him dancing while lip sinking to it. But, he surely didn't do the steps the '40s dancers did to it.

Jackie Gleason and/or Ed Norton tried to do the Hucklebuck in a famous "Honeymooners" episode. As for this record, it's clearly not about dancing.
