The band's vocalist, Will Kelly is hauntingly reminiscent of Jim Morrison with his gravelly, boozy vocals and so is the sexual undertone of most of their songs, and occasionally, ends up sounding like Glenn Danzig on the dead end of the night. Searing riffs evoke the late 60s acid-head era and exits in a superb, fuzzed and reverb-heavy sonic atmosphere.
The Flying Eyes also produce a grass-roots music festival called "Farm Fest" in Manchester, Maryland. In November 2009, The Flying Eyes released a compilation of their two EPs, "Bad Blood" and "Winter" under World in Sound Records. In the summer of 2010 they supported the album with a six week European tour, notably sharing the main stage of the Burg Herzberg Festival in Germany with legends Hawkwind and Jeff Beck.

got nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide
it's not love i'm runnin from,
just a heartbreak i no will come,
cause i know your no good for me, but you've become a part of me.
everywhere i go, your face i see,
Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide from you baby,
got nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide from you baby
i no your no good for me, but free of you i'll never be, no, no.
each night intice me, into my heart you greed,
i wake up feeling sorry i met you,
hoping soon that i'll forget you.
when i look in the mirror, to comb my hair,
i see your face, just a smile in there, yeah, yeah.
Nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide,
got nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide.
i no your no good for me, but you've become a part of me, yeah, yeah
How can i find a lover, that shouldn't be,
and its so deep, so deep, deep inside of me,
my love reaches so high, i can't get over it,
its so wide i can't get by it no.
Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide from you baby,
I just can't get away from you baby, no matter how i try.
I no your no good for me, but free from you i'll never be, no, no.
Nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide,
got nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide
got, got, got, nowhere to run,
got nowhere to run to baby, and nowhere to hide,
got, got, got nowhere to run,
no, no, no, no, nowhere to run,
got, got, got, got nowhere to run,
nowhere to run to baby.
The Flying Eyes's song "Nowhere to Run" is a perfect depiction of a toxic relationship that one can't seem to escape from. The lyrics describe a person who knows that their partner is not good for them and is bound to break their heart, but they can't help but be drawn to them. They have become a part of this person's existence, and no matter where they go or what they do, their partner is always present in their mind. The recurring line "Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide" emphasizes the feeling of being trapped in a situation where there's no escape.
The first verse sets the tone for the song by establishing that the person is not running from love but a heartbreak that they know is inevitable. The second verse describes how the person sees their partner's face everywhere they go and how they can't escape the memories of them. The chorus reinforces the idea that there's no way out for this person and that they're trapped in this relationship. The bridge emphasizes the depth and width of the person's emotions as they struggle to move on from this relationship.
Overall, Nowhere to Run is a powerful song that speaks to anyone who feels stuck in a toxic relationship. The lyrics convey a sense of desperation and hopelessness that many can relate to, making it a truly impactful piece of music.
