I was only 12 years old when this was a big #9 hit in 1957, and I listened to music on the radio constantly, but somehow, unfortunately, this gem eluded me. So happy to have lived long enough to have discovered it on you tube a year or two ago. I just turned 75 today. IT'S GOOD TO BE ALIVE AND IN GOOD HEALTH!đș

My 1958 favourite group was The Four Preps ''Big Man''
other songs I remember were popular I think about that time on the wireless were ''It's Almost Tomorrow'' The Dream weavers , and Freddie And The Dreamers ''I Understand ''

In 1957 I was a lonely sailor along way from home and when I would hear this song I was reminded of my lost love in high school.

You are so right, I am so thankful I was 10 years old in 1957. The songs then were from the heart, songs of life and the best things Life has to offer, the love of someone so special and money and power can never replace true Love it is Gods greatest gift to man!

There was a little bit of magic the way the music blended so well with the story in the song. Rhythm , flow, timing, and great harmony, these songs are priceless.
