1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

Welcome to tonight's feature show
There once was a castle filled with life
And there lived a King with his wife
All were happy and all was good
Until the King killed all he could
Standing in blood he proudly said
From now on my home shall only house the dead
In the opening lines of The Game's song "Curtains," we are greeted with a sense of anticipation and grandeur as if we are about to witness something significant. The lines "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to tonight's feature show" set the stage for a dramatic presentation or a story that is about to unfold before our eyes. It evokes the feeling of being at a theater or a performance where the audience is waiting for something extraordinary to happen.
Following this introduction, the lyrics delve into a tale about a castle that was once filled with life and ruled by a King and his wife. This imagery of a vibrant and prosperous kingdom sets the scene for what is to come, hinting at a time of happiness and contentment within the walls of the castle. The mention of the King and his wife suggests a sense of royalty and power, adding to the richness of the narrative being presented to the listener.
However, the idyllic picture painted in the earlier lines takes a sinister turn as we learn that the King turns on his subjects and begins to kill indiscriminately. The abrupt shift from harmony to chaos underscores a dark twist in the story, revealing the King's descent into madness or tyranny. The line "Until the King killed all he could" presents a chilling image of a ruler consumed by bloodlust and a desire for power at any cost, disrupting the peace and happiness that once prevailed in the kingdom.
The climax of the narrative arrives as the King, standing in a pool of blood, declares his macabre decree that from that moment on, the castle will only be the domain of the dead. This proclamation seals the fate of the once-thriving kingdom, marking a point of no return and symbolizing the irreversible transformation from a place of life to a place of death. The imagery of the King reveling in his violent actions and choosing to dwell amongst the deceased adds a haunting and eerie dimension to the story, leaving the listener with a sense of foreboding and tragedy.

Attention, esteemed audience
Welcome to tonight's feature show
Greetings to the main event of the evening
There once was a castle filled with life
Once, there was a vibrant castle teeming with activity
And there lived a King with his wife
Where a King resided with his Queen
All were happy and all was good
In a time of joy and peace
Until the King killed all he could
Until the monarch committed unbridled violence
Standing in blood he proudly said
Drenched in blood, he boldly declared
From now on my home shall only house the dead
Decreeing that his domain would be a realm of death
