1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

For My Niggas
The Game Lyrics

These niggas out here is food for my stomach
Get the fuck out the way when the lions is comin'
The elephant's stompin', gorillas is jumpin'
The snakes full of venom, the wolves out and huntin'
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
Predator to the prey, you should pray for the weak
Spray out Caprices, drive by with the reaper
I hang out the window like I'm an AC
Bodies turn cold after losing your pulse
Turn that dude to a ghost like the homie SP
Yeah, from the LAX with these bars I keep locked
Ain't a prison, I'm free, I can rap in my sleep
Dude on the post with rocks using shots
They come back to your ass like an offensive rebound
Funeral home on the speed dial
When God call your number
Man, trust me, there won't be no re-dial
We out here every day, they acting senile
Year of the wolf, niggas 'bout to hear me out
This beat I'mma wreck while these gorillas beat on their chest
West swing, I'm knocking their trees down
So go in your temple
These niggas is dinner from January all the way to December
Shouldn't have played with my killers
Beast on the loose and my stomach is rumblin'
These niggas out here is food for my stomach
Get the fuck out the way when the lions is comin'
The elephant's stompin', gorillas is jumpin'
The snakes full of venom, the wolves out and huntin'
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
Real trill nigga with a hip hand trigger
I'm surrounded by the killers, I just got it like that
Rappers always talking, you ain't 'bout it like that
Coward out the hood to get it then I brought it right back
Blood money rider, keep the chopper right beside 'em
FMN fully loaded, that's for any nigga want it
This sound like I got the shit, but fact it don't it
Grab a cork, get to sparkle, talking like one of my opponents
Rate these haters above 'em
You talk some cash when you talk to me
I ain't got no love for you if you ain't getting guwop with me
All my niggas from day one gwho I'm gon take to the top with me
And this shotty on me, got the boy, I walk this so [?]
I was raised in the wild with them lions and tigers
Nothing but paper excited us, bitch we were born be riders
And I'm from BME, the G in me won't let me back down
Underground king without a crown, how I sound
Beast on the loose and my stomach is rumblin'
These niggas out here is food for my stomach
Get the fuck out the way when the lions is comin'
The elephant's stompin', gorillas is jumpin'
The snakes full of venom, the wolves out and huntin'
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
In this concrete jungle, in this concrete jungle, woo
In The Game's song "For My Niggas," he depicts himself as a predator in a concrete jungle. The imagery he creates implies that he is surrounded by easy targets ("these niggas out here is food for my stomach"), and the beats and rhythms in the song match the aggression in his voice. He speaks of himself as a wolf, a lion, and a gorilla, all of which are powerful and dangerous animals that can easily take down weaker prey. The line "I sink in my teeth cause these niggas is sweet" suggests that his enemies are weak and easy to defeat, and the lines "spray out Caprices, drive by with the reaper" and "funeral home on the speed dial" suggest that he is willing to use lethal force to get what he wants.
Throughout the song, The Game makes many references to violence and death, using metaphors to describe his enemies as food for his stomach or prey for his hunting instincts. The overall tone of the song is one of aggression and confidence, with The Game asserting his dominance over the people around him.
