1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

Straight outta the motherfuckin pissy hallways in the projects
To park in a four door Bentley on my set.
Same hood, same motherfuckin steps
I sat on and took the plastic off of "Life After Death"
Bangin, boning Biggie Biggie i did a 360
The Aftermath for that is the nigga 50 aint wit me.
No hard feelings, we both made millions
Like I'm comatose, tell the Doc I'm sick
Before "Detox", let me take my last chronic hit.
Now I am gangsta rap inhale the weed smoke
And coughed up five platinum plaques
So Ima let the nigga Dr. Dre hit
Next time I have dreams of fuckin an R&B bitch (dreams of fuckin an R&B bitch)
I don't make love, I make hits.
I put a condom on and stuff my dick in this Hip Hop shit.
[Chorus: x2]
Feels Good
Gangsta
[Verse 2:]
Im that six figure nigga
Who got the word from KRS-ONE
And stole the Blueprint from Jigga
Niggas yellin Game did this, Game did that
Game aint do shit but bring the motherfuckin West Coast back
I hear the whisperin goin on in the hood.
I sent a motherfuckin Hallmark card to Suge
That nigga know that we all good
So you can catch a cab to Hell wit them death threats
I'm already dead
I put the .38 revolver to my own fuckin head
Before I let the shit eat my conscience.
Aint a nigga in the world could tell me I can't come thru Compton.
Before I retire my Converse, I'll ride the train thru NYC with the terrorist bombers.
Somebody tell my mama I'm crazy.
Pop was a Rolling Stone so that makes me a crack baby.
I'm in rehab three times a week
Because I'm a motherfuckin feen for a Dr. Dre beat.
[Chorus x2]
[Chorus x2]
In The Game's song Still Me, he reminisces about his life journey and how he rose from being a resident of the projects to now owning a four-door Bentley. He takes us through his early years of listening to Biggie and working with Dr. Dre on his hit albums. He mentions his fallout with 50 Cent but states that there are no hard feelings, and both artists have made their own wealth. The rapper asserts that he makes real music, much like his West Coast counterparts, and lets his gangster persona shine through his lyrics.
Throughout the track, The Game displays a sense of pride in his identity and background. He acknowledges the whispers going around about him in the hood and even sends a Hallmark card to Suge to let him know that everything is good between them. The Game contemplates his own mortality and mentions that he is crazy like his father was a Rolling Stone, and he is a crack baby. The final verse talks about his constant need for Dr. Dre's beats and his craving for the high it gives him. The chorus "Feels Good Gangsta" reinforces his confidence in his gangster image and how he has managed to stay true to himself despite his success.
