1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

If I love, I love, I love, I love you
My little niggas come through drillin' shit
You know how many times I try to talk 'em out of killin' shit?
But they don't listen to me, they listen to NBA YoungBoy
Said "I'll never be broke again", and I love 'em, they my young boys
It's Compton, nigga, where everybody got heat
We lost niggas, and we found niggas
We swim through rival neighborhoods until we drown, nigga
And we don't need Joe Biden for crack pipes, we got 'em, nigga
I know glass blowers who braid hair in the bottoms, nigga
I know smokers that still alive, after bad drugs
I know some jakes that never made it out that bathtub
I know some niggas, masked up, ready to blast snubs
Tryna decide between food and chronic, down 'till they last dub
Fuck where you from, take off, don't even ask 'cause
I used to save niggas, now that call end with smashed blood
I'm twisted
Hardest liquor in my system got me twisted
Ridin' through Inglewood, Backwoods gettin' twisted
'Bout to pull up to the jungles and get twisted
.30 on my lap, 'cause you niggas got me twisted
It's still "fuck my brother", and I just made up with my sister
Nightmares on Elm Street, so I wake up to my pistol
In the backyard with my oldest son
He can't get the silencer on his gun
Lil' nigga, you got it twisted
We don't leave the house without the hammer on
Fuck it look like sayin' "The Game dead" on your camera phone, slow down
You gotta move in slow motion
Like a plane from the ground, I seen all four oceans
I run with felons, the good fellas
Bulletproof umbrellas, nigga, ain't nobody tellin'
And ain't nobody sellin', we don't trust you niggas
Shoot shadows over the roaches, we'd crush you niggas, step
Over niggas, like A.I. do
You'll be lookin' up at cornrows like Tyronn Lue
We send bitches to your section just to spy on you
Ring camera on the text, I got my eye on you
We don't switch sets, never have, never will
Certified gangstas, nigga, bandanas is dip set
Killer Cali', nigga, lil' Uzis, big sweats
Triads, Eses, Bloods and them Crip sets, twisted
Hardest liquor in my system got me twisted
Ridin' through Inglewood, Backwoods gettin' twisted
'Bout to pull up to the jungles and get twisted
.30 on my lap, 'cause you niggas got me twisted
It's still "fuck my brother", and I just made up with my sister
Nightmares on Elm Street, so I wake up to my pistol
In the backyard with my oldest son
He can't get the silencer on his gun
Lil' nigga, you got it twisted
If I love, I love, I love you
If I love, I love, I love, I love you
If I love, I love, I love you
If I love, I love, I love, I love you
The Game's song "Twisted" is a reflection on his life in Compton, where violence and gang culture are an everyday reality. The repetitive chorus of "If I love, I love, I love you" is a reminder that despite his tough exterior and dangerous surroundings, at the heart of it all is a deep love for his community and the people in it. In the first verse, he addresses the difficulty in trying to convince his young protégés not to engage in violent behavior, but acknowledges that they are influenced by popular rap artists like NBA YoungBoy who preach a message of never being broke again.
The second verse continues with vivid descriptions of the harsh realities of life in Compton. He talks about the abundance of guns in the community, even jokingly mentioning that Walmart has stepped on the Compton swap meet by selling firearms. The Game also mentions the use of drugs like crack and bad drugs that have killed some but left others alive. He touches on the influence of gangs and the importance of loyalty, saying "It's still 'fuck my brother', and I just made up with my sister." The verse ends with him being in the backyard with his eldest son, trying to teach him how to use a silencer on his gun, a stark reminder of the dangers they both face every day.
Overall, "Twisted" is a commentary on the complex and often violent world of gang culture in Compton. The Game emphasizes the importance of loyalty, community, and love amidst the chaos and danger.
