1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

Thank that big booty bitch Maliah for that freaky dance
She gave me last night, jumped in a 'Rari
Pull up to her crib and hit that pussy like a crack pipe
I listen to Dipset, want Cam and Jim to squash it
But how can I say that when I ain't made up with Fif yet?
I be watching Power while I benchpress
Four plates on each side, maxed out, 6 reps
Rollie with the grizzly face, Mike Conley, is he straight?
Damn right he is
I go platinum and I violate niggas like Chris Lighty did
I make music for all my niggas locked up state
With Blac Chyna on they walls and now they seen a fuck face
Quarter million on the dresser, nigga what safe?
Trigger my alarm and you gon' run into some duct tape
I'm still here, they said I wasn't welcome
Came in the game and then everybody felt him
What your life like? Mine's 'bout getting money and bitches
64's and switches, popping guns with my niggas
What your life like? Mine's 'bout listening to Illmatic
In my grandmother's attic tryna spit above average
What your life like? Mine's 'bout shedding tears when Pac died
Swimming in money like the Rothschilds
Nigga what your life like?
Nigga what your life like?
Tell me what your life like
I done had conversations with Timbo
Passed on a couple Pharrell and Swizz instrumentals
I done wore a two piece tux on Jimmy Kimmel
Then came back to the hood and whopped your ass like I was Kimbo
I done lost 20 millions on lawyer fees
But I'mma get it back when I sue Jimmy for my royalties
I done had Scott Storch recording me
Drove through Compton with the doors up, ain't no ignorning me
I done took shots at Jay, I done took shots of 'gnac
I done took shots for Cedar, five couldn't drop me flat
RIP to Frog, RIP to Will
He was just as Ill as Will so I know how Nas feel
Nigga I'm the greatest
300 Bars was like 15 minutes long, tell me how many times you played it
How many times you had your Documentary stolen and replaced it?
That's that 5 million out the gate shit
And I'm still here, they said I wasn't welcome
Came in the game and then everybody felt him
What your life like? Mine's 'bout getting money and bitches
64's and switches, popping guns with my niggas
What your life like? Mine's 'bout listening to Illmatic
In my grandmother's attic tryna spit above average
What your life like? Mine's 'bout shedding tears when Pac died
Swimming in money like the Rothschilds
Nigga what your life like?
Nigga what your life like?
Tell me what your life like
Tell me what your life like
The Game's song "Live Your Life" is a powerful statement of the MC's determination to succeed in the rap game despite the odds stacked against him. The lyrics are a mix of self-reflection and braggadocio, with the artist admitting to his own lows (losing millions on lawyer fees) and aiming his sights high (suing Jimmy for his royalties). The song is as much an anthem for his fans as it is a message to his enemies, telling them that he's still here and will continue to pave his way to success.
The song starts with The Game thanking Dr. Dre for giving him a chance, and then goes on to describe his wild night with "big booty bitch Maliah." He talks about his admiration of Dipset's Cam and Jim, but confesses he can't speak out on their beef since he himself hasn't made up with Fifty Cent yet. The artist then proudly proclaims that he listens to Drake and works out while watching Power, indicating his preference for contemporary hip-hop and pop culture.
In the later verses, The Game name-drops several prominent figures in the rap industry, including Timbaland, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, and Jay Z. He also pays homage to two slain rappers, Tupac and Will, whom he deems just as "I'll" as Nas. The lyrics are a bold statement of The Game's abilities and accomplishments, but they also showcase his vulnerability and desire to connect with fans on a personal level.
