The Gourishankar Lyrics

Where even skies are ever gray,
Look through the ages, live in minutes...
O, come, my day when I'll be able
To know, see and understand,
The end of soul's aimless travels,
Of lucks and troubles peaceful end...
And he, who went with me wherever,
Through thunders and the silent peace.
He, who was kind to me in fever...
The opening lines of The Gourishankar's song End can be interpreted as the singer embracing the limitations of life, where everything seems mundane and lifeless. The skies are gray, and time seems to pass by so slowly, that it's like the singer is living in minutes rather than days or even hours. The lyrics offer a sense of melancholy, accompanied by a feeling of hopelessness. The singer longs for a time when they'll be able to comprehend the complexity of the world around them and find peace in their souls.
The second verse is an appeal to a higher power, addressing that there is no peace in life without pain and suffering. The singer is hoping that one day they will reach a period of tranquility, where they'll find peace in their soul, and their wandering will end. They are seeking a time when they can understand the reason for their hardships and the trials they've been through. The lyrics suggest that the singer has a sense of faith and confidence that their journey will eventually end, and their soul will find peace.
The final lines of the verse are an acknowledgement of a constant companion that the singer has felt throughout their journey. This companion has been with them through the good and the bad, through calm and chaos, providing them with comfort and support. The lyrics serve as a reminder that despite the difficulties of life, there is always someone or something that will be there for us.
