I find myself suspended in a vacuum
I feel as though I am floating in an empty space, cut off from everything around me.

A vacuum that goes either way
This void seems to be capable of pulling me in any direction, leaving me feeling unmoored and uncertain.

But there must be something else to it
Despite my feelings of disconnection and isolation, I suspect that there is more to this experience than meets the eye.

'Cause the sun comes to me every day
The appearance of the sun in the sky each day is a reminder that even in the emptiness of space, there are still constants and rhythms that endure.

When I see the truth I see it with my own imagery
The understanding of what is real and true only comes to me through my own perceptions and filters, which shape my interpretation of the world around me.

It's my brain lying, trying to make me see,
My mind sometimes deceives me, presenting distorted versions of reality that may not reflect the true nature of things.

That the truths is so big that it runs eternity
The eternal nature of truth is so vast and all-encompassing that it is nearly impossible to fully comprehend or grasp.

And small enough to fit inside me
At the same time, however, this truth is also intimately tied to my own existence, and resides within me at every moment.

Far away past a star into the void inside of me
In searching for deeper meaning and understanding, I must venture beyond the external world and explore the internal void within me.

Or smaller past the atoms that have nothing inside
The tiniest elements of matter hold mysteries and complexities that are still not fully understood, and may unlock deeper truths and knowledge of the universe.

Just the same as a car or a leaf or a star
All things in the universe, no matter how large or small, are ultimately subject to the same laws and principles of existence and change.

Cannot move without command
Even the most basic movements or actions require some sort of impulse or command to initiate and carry them out.

Something moves me and without it I'd be no more living
There is a force or energy that animates and propels me forward, without which I would lack the spark of life.

Than a hole in the sand
Without this vital energy, I would be no more significant or meaningful than a simple indentation in the earth.

Hold my hand feel it's warm touch from the fire inside
Through touch and connection with others, I can sense and share in the inner energy and life force that animates each of us.

Hold my heart feel it's beating how I can't decide
The beating of my heart and the rhythm of my body are governed by forces far beyond my conscious control or understanding.

I don't control my sleeping or when I dream away
Even in the realm of sleep and dreams, I am subject to deeper forces and impulses that guide my experiences and perceptions.

But there must be something to it
Despite my lack of conscious control or understanding, I sense that these experiences hold deeper meaning and purpose that are still waiting to be discovered.

For I wake up everyday
The simple act of waking up each day is a sign that life and energy continue to flow through me, even in the midst of uncertainty and change.
