Semua tak masuk logika
Bila tak pernah merasa
Jangan bicara
Cinta kini mulai terasa
Tak semudah di kata
Bila panah asmara merasuk di jiwa
(Saat) Kau merasa
Takkan lepas, takkan hilang
Walau seribu malam
(Lepaskan) Lepaskan
(Hilangkan) Hilangkan
(Padamkan) Bara api asmara
(Lepaskan) Lepaskan
(Padamkan) Takkan pernah hilang
Walaupun seribu malam, oh!
Banyak terdengar cerita
Semua tak masuk logika
Bila tak pernah merasa
Jangan bicara
(Saat) Kau merasa
(Walau) Sekejap mata
Takkan lepas, takkan hilang
Walau seribu malam
(Takkan lepas, takkan hilang)
Takkan pernah lepas
(Takkan pernah hilang)
(Takkan pernah lepas)
(Takkan pernah padam bara api asmara)
(Takkan pernah hilang)
(Takkan pernah lepas)
(Takkan pernah padam bara api asmara)

The lyrics of the song "Seribu Malam" by The Groove express the idea that love is a powerful force that cannot be explained by logic. The song starts by saying that there are many stories heard about love, but none of them make sense if they have not been experienced. The chorus repeats the idea that once you have felt love, it is not easy to let go and it will stay with you forever, even after a thousand nights.
The lyrics are a mix of both Bahasa Indonesia and English, which adds to the global appeal of the song. The chorus includes the repetition of the phrase, "Lepaskan, hilangkan, padamkan," which means, "Release, erase, extinguish." These phrases may signify the struggle to let go of a past love or the effort required to forget someone.
The melody is a blend of pop, jazz, and rock, which makes the song appealing to a wide audience. The lyrics are also open to interpretation, as every listener can make their own meaning of the words. Overall, the song is about the power of love and how it can overcome all obstacles.
