McKenzie, the only permanent member, and guest musicians. The project has seen the release of numerous albums and CDs in experimental musical styles ranging from electronica, cut-up, ambient, environmental soundscape, musique concrete, electro-acoustic, and audio-montage as cinema for the years from 1982 to present, each of which utilise graphic design and text for contextual juxtaposition with the recordings, as well as having a diverse but concrete philosophical and sometimes quasi-religious framework to place them in.

@sallylauper8222
Perhaps the most Orchestral work in the NWW Arsenal. I bought this cassette before it was trendy.
@lew294
Yes , it's sure !
@PaulBilger1
This cassette was trendy? Where? Ah, to live in such a world....
@dannyhood5608
Must admit I'd purchased the cassette when it became available for whatever reason.

I remember listening to Hafler Trio in 1990. I was in a high school band trip to the Bahamas. I had never eaten marijuana before, but here I am-a 10th grader on a 20 hour bus ride from midwest to the cruiseship. What.ever. composition I was listening to (by hafler) was SO unique, interesting, and bizarre…I’ll never forget it. I never could find the name of the composition…but it sounded like an older Russian(?) man talking and sometimes he references the windows to the factory swinging open and lights coming in. Idk, he kept talking like it was a very important thing whatever it was. And there was the reverb sound of a low warehouse drone/air, or fan…I don’t really remember..if anyone has any ideas or remember this hafler composition?
@bezenby9804
It's called Alternation, Perception and Resistance - A Comprehension Exercise. Good luck finding it mind you.
@phonkyfeel1
@@bezenby9804 you are amazing. I can’t tell you how many years I’ve forgotten to search again. And then I remembered, and you replied! Thank you! Hope I find it.
@bezenby9804
@@phonkyfeel1 It's on the album Walk Gently Through The Gates of Joy. I'd send over a copy if I knew how!
@phonkyfeel1
@@bezenby9804 ummm. Well I DO speak vinyl. And would be happy to purchase a copy…or somehow send Hafler compensation for a digital copy. Let me know if any of that is possible. Thank you again
@ceef8688
great cover. Is it also supposed to look a little like a sewing machine? Excellent tape. Hope it winds up on NWW bandcamp. One of his most drony-meanwhile-listenable.
