In 1980, two Harvard-Radcliffe students, Simin Yazdgerdi and Suzanne Goldsmith, transformed a loosely organized co-ed singing group called the Harvard Squares into Harvard’s first full-fledged mixed a cappella ensemble. While the name has changed from Harvard-Radcliffe to Harvard, The Opportunes have had consistent intricate six-to-eight-part harmonies, black tie and black velvet dresses, and sense of humor. They have released an album about every two years since 1993 and have won a number of honors including the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America's award for "Best Mixed Collegiate Song" of 2000 for ""When We Were Kings." They signed with A'Capella Records in for their 2009 release, "Bring Me Back."

lovely. but ultimately a fail. it shows from 2.07 onwards and is quite fortunate to end where it does. x

It isn't that the choir isn't in rhythm, the lead is nervous and is rushing the tempo. That said, she has a lovely voice, but she needs to pull the mic away when she breathes. She was about a half step above tune-which is why it sounded too high.
